Howdy Partners, This is the first update in a while and I hope you'll find it worth the wait. - Switched translation English to Gemini for additional AI features. - Translation explanations. Very useful for idiomatic phrases. Part of Vidalingua Plus which can be activated at no charge for testing purposes. - Voice Translator improvement. One tap to initiate, record, translate and play. Ideal for conversing with person in another language. - iOS Siri integration. Set up in iOS Shortcuts, then say "Hey Siri, Vidalingua Spanish Translator" and Siri will ask you for a phrase to translate. - Keyboard Translator to use with Message and other apps. Go to Settings to activate. - Tap "More" on all dictionary headwords to show more usage examples. - Keyboard autocorrect now functions in the language selected for input. - iOS Spotlight lookup. Find the app by searching on "Spanish" or "Translator". - When dictionary word is not found, drop down asks user if they want to translate the word. - Improved Settings format. Most accurate Italian to English (and opposite) translator app out there.

I live in Italy and speak Italian pretty well, however sometimes conversations come up with friends where I don’t know the words. I’ve used this app numerous times to translate something. After doing so, I’ve asked, “is that an accurate translation?”, and nearly every time the answer is a resounding “yes”.

Robust dictionary as well.

10/10. Would recommend.

Easy to use and accurate

I love this app! It helps me find words quickly and phrase sentences appropriately. I have the French version, too. It is well worth the small annual fee. I had one issue/question and it was easy to reach the app owners for quick resolution.

I love the feature of conjugating verbs in different tenses.

Very usable app

This is a very useful and usable app. I like that I can go directly from an English word’s Italian equivalent to the Italian entry for that word, to compare how it translates back to English. That often reveals subtleties in the way a word represents slightly different concepts in the two languages.
Most entries also include useful examples, and all are provided with native-speaker audio pronunciation.
