Italki has many amazing features, but its strength is in connecting you with excellent language teachers.
You can quickly identify the type of teacher you want from their promotional videos, and the timing and pricing of lessons is explicit, easy to find and clear making language learning planning very easy.
The notification systems are fantastic, and you can link your lesson times to your own electronic diaries very easily.
I would encourage you to really use the practice learning lessons to find a teacher that suits your style of learning and lifestyle. Have a close look at the teacher’s schedule to check that it suits your own schedule. I’ve been using Italki for quite a few years now, and it’s always my go to place to find a new language teacher.

This is a great app.
This is a great interactive language app. I liked the fact that it is geared towards learning and although it can be one sided, depending on instructors, you can make it more than one sided experience. I tried interactive language exchange apps before, from which i just could not have the best experience as an older person who is not interested in romantic relationship.

Learning Spanish at home
Hi language learners. Here’s a quick story about my learning Spanish. I have always wanted to learn enough Spanish to communicate fluently, but don’t have a school or college near me that teach foreign languages. Also, nobody speaks Spanish in my life. For that reason, I have learnt what Spanish I have at home, with books and of course the internet. Italki has by far, been the most helpful and useful method I have had to improve my language learning. You can find with ease a teacher or more (as in my case) who can make lessons that make your confidence and knowledge grow, without you even realising it’s happening. If I hadn’t used Italki I think I would have given up some time ago.
