Take your learning to the next level

One of the best decisions of my life was to joint the Italki community. The right teachers make the experience truly rewarding, not just in language but in hobbies and interests. The teaches didn’t just bring the language alive they share a part of a rich culture and experience

Italki

Italki is a great way to learn a language. It is the closet thing to immersion without moving to another country. All my instructors have been great ! Other than speaking to a native speaker in person, I can’t think of a better format to learn . I’d much rather speak to a real person than to an AI bot. Just sayin.

Greatest language learning I have ever used.

For all the languages that are less known and even the main ones. This is the best language app hands down.

FAQ

What is this app?

This app connects you with qualified native teachers for personalized language lessons. You can learn over 150 languages, including Spanish, English, and French, through video calls and tailored instruction. It offers an immersive learning experience to help you improve your language skills and cultural understanding.

How does the pricing work?

The app uses a pay-as-you-go model, meaning you pay per class. Teachers set their own prices, with options starting from less than $5 for tutors and under $10 for qualified teachers. You can also purchase credits or packages for potential savings, and there are often trial classes available at a low cost.

What languages can I learn?

You can learn a wide variety of languages, with over 150 options available. Popular choices include Spanish, English, French, Japanese, Korean, and German. The platform aims to provide access to native teachers for almost any language you wish to study.

How are the lessons conducted?

Lessons are conducted online via video calls using platforms like italki Classroom, Skype, or Zoom. You can choose the duration of your class (30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes) and schedule it to fit your availability, whether it's during a lunch break or your daily commute.

Can I choose a teacher based on my needs?

Yes, you can connect with native teachers based on your interests, work experience, and specific learning goals. Teachers tailor their classes to your current language level (A1-C2) and can focus on areas like conversation, business language, grammar, or exam preparation.
