Download the recordings the same day that you go
Thought I was smart to download all of the recordings the night before we went to Pompeii, but they don’t seem to work after some period of time has elapsed. It would no longer recognize what I had already downloaded. And then, of course, it wasn’t possible to download 84mb in the middle of the archeology site. So it ended up being a major fail. I don’t know why you don’t get the entire download forever when you purchase each individual guide.

Just the guide we needed
We are just finishing up a two week trip to Italy and found this guide the most useful. It geo locates so you can figure out what you are looking at and how to get to what you want to see. The information shared adds to your experience. We ended up using it at the archeological museo nazionale in Naples over their audio guide the museum provided. Same with Pompeii. Also used it for the walk through Naples and it truly delivered. We saw more with this guide than we would have otherwise.

App appears to be unfinished
Only occasional features inside the Herculaneum have information in this app. While all the Roman buildings have numbers on them that presumably work with a rented audio guide gadget, this app doesn’t connect with these numbers. The descriptions against map features are all upside down. When Chinese Simplified language is selected, the Chinese text is garbled with strange nonexistent characters in between words.

Useless app
Absolutely useless app. The only good thing about it is good audio however you can’t listen to your audio guide without internet connection even if all files have been pre-downloaded previously. There is no WiFi in pompeii so unless you have good mobile coverage there is no point using this app

It was our 1st time visiting Naples but thanks to these perfect staffs, we really enjoyed visiting this place. I never had such a perfect service in museum !! Grazieee !

J’ai téléchargé cette application pour visiter le Vatican, je suis presque certain qu’il y a une erreur dans le descriptif de la place saint pierre (Alexandre 8 ou 7…).

Great audio guide with google maps synchronization
This app was just what I needed for a leisurely walk through Herculaneum. Photos help you make sure you’re in the right place, the audio guide is clear and succinct, or you can use the transcript. My favorite feature was the ability to see the available locations on a map (or in google maps) with my location so I could easily navigate to each place. The only improvement for future versions would be to add tracks more locations but I saw only a few places IRL that didn’t have audio tracks in the app. There were some negative reviews so I felt I was taking a chance, but I’m glad I did. Overall a very well done app!

Nice Herculaneum
I wanted to visit the excavations of Herculaneum, with a good audio guide, I tried the free demo and bought this one. I found myself well, with the geolocation and the quality of the audio.
Perfect for Archeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum of Naples is really huge. At the ticket office they don't give you a map and you get lost easily. In the audio guide that I bought there is the map, with the recommended route and in 2 hours we really saw all the most beautiful works
Outdated
This app obviously doesn’t work alongside Herculaneum. Content is outdated including stuff that isn’t open and not including the majority of numbers around the walk which was disappointing that I paid 4 euro at the advice of the info centre outside the station.
Also their contact form doesn’t work so good luck for me getting a refund.
