Are the positive reviews bought?
I’m trilingual and I tried this for my husband to use at work. It broke immediately. Cannot handle him and me speaking in russian or japanese.

Why should i have to pay a subscription to use this? It used to be free.

I am English speaking and am currently visiting Paris France. I know a little French but thought it would be useful to set up this app for when I was here and got set up with the free trial. Every time I used it to help me figure out a word or phrase or talk to anyone it misunderstood every word. I can’t speak for any other language, but when it comes to French you’re better off using Duolingo or translate, or just asking the person if they speak your language.

App works on the phone. OK but is completely nonfunctional on the Apple Watch. Went through steps trying to solve a problem. Deleting and re-uploading app on both my phone and the watch with no luck.

I was interested in being able to do live transactions on my watch, but every time I tried to use it - trying multiple languages - I would get a message saying “Something went wrong.”
I decided to try the free trial of the pro version to see if that would get it to work, but no luck.
I ended the free trial and gave up.

Doesn’t work no matter language you choose
So much worse
This app was amazing last October. This August it was unusable. 100% unusable. I paid for a week and I want it back.
Watch App does not work!!!
I have latest Apple Watch but this app does not work. Gives an error message “Something went wrong, Please try again” every time. I have deleted the app and reloaded it many times. I have changed the settings to other languages. It makes no difference, the watch app does not work. It seems to work okay on my iPhone 13, however. Tried another person’s voice and same results and non-helpful error message on watch.
My Apple Watch runs other translation apps, so not sure why this one fails to work! Amazed it got a positive Editor’s Choice Award since it is unusable as an Apple Watch app. I am glad I did not pay for a subscription fee yet for such a piece of trash that should have not been released if developers followed good QA practices.

Great App although I feel short changed.
Firstly. Love the App. I bought the Yearly subscription for Converse Pro. While recently browsing your website. I noticed you say.
But I already subscribed to PRO in iTranslate?
With the iTranslate Account System, we allow you to access this in Converse as well, and vice versa. No need to subscribe twice - Two great apps for the price of one!
Clicking on said link brings you to an ‘OPs 404’. Really wanted to try & use this feature. I kinda feel short changed now.

Made me pay to find out it didn’t work. Wanted to find out what was being said around me …. And out of a whole statement it returned 1 word… tried this for less than 15 mins and could not get a refund for an item I can’t use
