Still the best!
I’ve been using this app for 10 years now and it’s still the best one. Keep your account register, track your expenses, and use virtual envelopes.

I just purchased this and was super excited. Printed out the 47 page manual to get started and the app will not open. It’s frustrating.
8 years of loving this app
I have been using this app for over 8 years and I still love it. I have checked out other envelope apps and they just didn’t measure up. The support is top notch, too!
Stall, crash, and burn
This app has potential to be helpful. My husband and I use (were using) the app to monitor our family bills, budget, and expenses. It’s nothing super fancy but was a simplified and easy way to employ the envelope method of budgeting but digitally. However, we’ve experienced many pitfalls with this app. The app appears to rarely be updated by developers a huge problem considering after the last major Apple update, neither my husband or I can actually get into the app! There’s a persistent error message and no way around it. So no one way to track our data or even view it.
Here’s the other issue, we assumed we should be able to employ the “restore” from Dropbox function on our family iPad since that older version is somehow working. Nope! The app allowed us to resync to Dropbox and instead of pulling information from a few days ago when the app was working it wiped out everything!
So in sum the Pros of this App:
- Simplified digital budgeting using the envelope method
- transactions organized by date
- ability to create envelop categories
- ability to share across devices
Cons:
- Very few updates
- App inaccessible with latest Apple Update
- When app was working it would crash often
- when working takes a long time for any input to load and appear on the transaction screen
- Cannot rearrange order of envelopes automatically or by a drag and drop
- Cannot delete envelopes without permanently screwing up all of your accounts
- Cannot collapse envelopes in an envelope category
- Sometimes has syncing errors in which a transaction shows up twice
- Transactions are automatically sorted by date and in alphabetical order not by date and time, so double checking with bank accounts can be challenging.
- connecting with a Dropbox account for added sync and backup isn’t helpful
- little to no helpful information exists in contacting developers or getting support with app issues

Best budget app
This is by far my favorite budget app that I've ever used. I've tried out so many and none of them work with my income better than this one. My one complaint is the design, I wish it had a more modern design or that the colors were customizable. That would be great. I'm not a fan of the style/colors.
