iViking

iViking is the official mobile app of NorseMap, a research project funded by theEuropean Research Council (ERC) and based at University College Cork (Ireland), that explores how the legacy of the Vikings continues to shape contemporary culture. Vikings are highly visible in today’s world—appearing in media, branding, public art, tourism, heritage, and political discourse. Their meanings are varied and constantly evolving. iViking allows you to document these uses and contribute to a broader understanding of how the Viking past is received, interpreted, and reused today.
