User reviews

The best alarm app I've ever used

Great design, easy setup, and it goes off right on time without any glitches. Everything you need in a good alarm app. 5 stars!

The only alarm that actually gets me out of bed

I’ve tried plenty of alarm apps and always ended up hitting snooze. iWake Alarm is different because you can’t dismiss it until you finish a task. You pick what it asks for: walking, push-ups or a kitchen scan where the camera verifies you’re really up. No snooze, no shortcuts.
The stats screen is the best part. It shows whether the alarm rang on time, how many snoozes you took, how long you spent proving you were awake and which task you did. Seeing it all laid out minute by minute keeps me honest.

If you’re a heavy sleeper or tired of snoozing your way through mornings, this app is worth it. Five stars!

FAQ

What makes iWake Alarm different from other alarm apps?

Unlike typical alarms that can be easily snoozed or turned off with a button, iWake Alarm requires users to complete specific physical or mental tasks, such as push-ups, squats, or math problems, to stop the alarm. This ensures users are truly awake and engaged.

Does iWake Alarm have ads?

No, iWake Alarm does not contain advertisements. The app is free to use with basic alarm functions, and an optional one-time purchase unlocks advanced features like tasks, wake history, and backup.

What tasks can iWake Alarm use to wake me up?

iWake Alarm offers a variety of tasks including push-ups and squats (counted by motion or camera), walks measured by steps, customizable math problems, and a room scan to verify you've moved to a specific location. It can also randomly select tasks to keep you on your toes.

How does iWake Alarm track my progress?

The app maintains a wake history that records when the alarm rang, when you proved you were up, how long it took, and which task was used. This history is presented as a record of your wake-ups over time, not as a streak or score.

Is my data safe with iWake Alarm?

Yes, your privacy is a priority. iWake Alarm operates without an account, server, or analytics, making no network requests. Your alarms and wake history are stored locally on your device and are deleted when the app is uninstalled.

What devices is iWake Alarm available on?

Currently, iWake Alarm is available for iPhone. It utilizes AlarmKit, the same system used by Apple's native Clock app, ensuring it rings through Silent mode and Focus.

How much does iWake Alarm cost?

The basic alarm functions of iWake Alarm are free and have no limits. To access advanced features like all the tasks, wake history, and backup, there is a one-time purchase for iWake Pro, which is not a subscription.

Can I use iWake Alarm with Siri?

Yes, iWake Alarm integrates with Siri. You can set a challenge alarm by saying, 'Set an iWake challenge alarm.'
