Excellent Simple Writer from a Great Developer
I have been using the app for something like 8 years now very happily. Little bugs here and there do get addressed over time. Cannot recommend enough.

Ja, iWriter ist ein Top-Schreibprogramm, ohne Schnörkel, ohne Schnickschnack. Einfach NUR zum Schreiben von Gedanken, Gedichten, Geschichten, …
Es ist ein ganz anderer Ansatz wie Word, bei dem man ständig irgendetwas sucht, formartiert, in Menüs etwas unter Tausenden Dingen rauskramt und das Nebensächliche, das dann das Wichtige, nämlich das Schreiben, blockiert.
Besonders für Apple Geräte wie iPad und Mac Book ist das Programm perfekt.
Wobei man es auch für Windows nutzen kann, so dass egal von man arbeitet, über die Cloud, immer ein paar Dinge ergänzen oder korrigieren kann (bis der Chef kommt :-) ).
Kurz und knapp ich liebe es!

Good but a bit of a flaw
I wanted this mostly for plain text file editing, but paid the pro version price as sometimes I write markdown for Github repos. And overall it seems pretty good - i.e. no distracting frills and works well as an editor.
The only problem I've encountered is it seems to cache the text from the currently open file. So if I upload to my laptop, edit, then copy back, when I open iWriter Pro it shows the old text until I open the file.
I therefore worry that if I close the app without noticing it'll autosave the file back to an old version. If that was fixed, just by reloading on app start, it'd be a 4* app in my view.
