Please update!

I miss using this app

Response from developer

We just did! Come get the new bits!

No longer compatible with ios 11. Please update....

Beautiful app and great tomsoothe but now no longer works at all. Very disappointed...

No update doesn’t work

Does not work on new iOS update. It was a great app, I am sad that it no longer works

Highly recommend

I have this app on my iPad. I use it daily as a part of my zen practice. I highly recommend it. There is only one very small drawback for which I will not take away a star. The flying butterflies only fly in the lower left corner. I would like to see them fly over the whole garden. If you are looking for a tranquility garden in this electronic age, I urge you to get this app.

Thank you so much! I think you’ll find the latest version has some great improvements to the butterflies.

Superb

I love this app. I have the iPod version, too. In the evenings, I look forward to sitting and tending my various gardens. It is very calming after chasing my two kiddos around all day. The quality of the images is spectacular. PLEASE update to add more amazing images. Thank you for this wonderful app.

What a lovely review thank you! We’ll be releasing a lot more garden objects for you to place soon.

Great! But maybe more critters (turtle or koi pond would be great for an update!!!!!!!)

I LOVE IT. They did a great job, it's very cool and relaxing. Its also fun to mess around with even when your not making a garden, but I do make many gardens. The sounds are perfect too. They have fountains and bonsai trees and butterfly's that can move around your garden (or stay still if you'd like) for those that are complaining of the raking lines not being clear enough, there is a way to make the depth of the rake lines deeper (the environment category) ***the only thing i would LOVE is more critters beside butterflies (maybe a turtle or koi pond)*** but I like it so much I want to make a real one of my own in addition to the iPad version.

I LOVE The turtle idea. For sure soon!

Relaxing, needs updates

This app really is relaxing, no joke. But the object slide sometimes goes clear, and it shuts down without me pushing the big button on my iPad. As my job is very stressful, when I come home I hunt for my iPad and play this app. It just gets frustrating when the object slide goes clear. :)

Very Relaxing

I have greatly enjoyed this app finding it, at least for me, a wonderful blend of simplicity and profundity. It has all I need for what meditation I use it for, and is easy to navigate and fun to explore. So far,I have not had any technical problems.

Disappointed

I was really disappointed getting this app. I expected a LOT more especially for the high price. Honestly, this app looks like it was designed by a guy. A utilitarian guy. This app is not pretty. It's just plain.

I get that zen is supposed to be simple. But then you are better off just staying with the free version.

What I would have liked: more flowers... where are roses, daisies, daffodils, and lilacs? All you get are an orchid and some plain flowers and not many choices (there are about 10 generic flowers). Oh, yeah, you get a lot of cactus choices... whoopee....

Also where are the crystals? Red, diamond (crystal rainbow), blue, green? Gemstones..... where are the beautiful objects?

This app is just really plain......... too plain.....

A Wonderful App

A very wonderful app indeed! Like to play with the garden arrangement when I feel down and especially angry! It help to calm me! Hope to have even more different garden items though. Thanks team! Keep it up and add more items!

Superb! Visual feast for the mind and soul...

This is a beautiful app! I really enjoy making and sharing my gardens. The meditation sounds are very soothing. Above and beyond that, my kids love to make their own gardens. Its a great boredom bust while waiting in a doctors office or at other appointments. Easy enough for a preschooler to use and sophisticated enough to appeal to adults! You won't be disappointed!

Great app for showing off the iPad

This app is great for showing off the iPad. It looks great and takes full advantage of the touch environment to make a beautiful virtual garden. Guys, be sure to grab a copy so that you can show off your sensitive side to the ladies. Trust me, it works!

Zen-Perfect

Still the go-to app for demonstrating the appeal of the iPad, as well as being a relaxing and consitently-fascinating pleasure in its own right. Exactly the kind of app that is perfect for launching and setting out on the coffee table when friends visit, everyone will want to pick it up and play with it. You can very-nearly feel the sand underneath your fingers. Highly recommended.

Simple and relaxing

I loved how easy it was to get started - very simple interface. Good number of options - lots of choice but not enough to be overwhelming. Sounds are VERY well chosen - I find myself using them when I am writing or reading. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS. Thanks for a great app.

Nice App

This is a fun app, although the look of the sand after raking can be less than smooth due to graphics that can't keep up with the user. Meaning, when you rake a circle, the sand will look more like a polygon due to choppy boxed sides. I also hope they come out with more objects. Other than the above, this app is nice and worth a dollar or two. They should have the option of showing the rake or no. Also, why not give us more colors for the sand other than the five or so we currently have. This app gets a 4 star from me, it needs a little refining and additional objects before it can get a 5 star.

Soothing and peaceful

I saw this on a list of highly recommended apps, and thought it sounded silly, but tried it and now I really like it. The bell sounds are particularly nice. My only criticism is that the sounds have to be turned off in the menu, or else they keep on going and they don't stop on their own, at least for a good while. Also, when you save a garden in the gallery, the sound you saved with it doesn't stay with it-- the most recent sound is what you get when you "open" the saved garden. But these are small problems. it is a nice app.

Peaceful garden

There is a nice variety of objects to place in your garden - plants, water features, rocks, butterflies and more. Raking the sand with your finger is smooth and easy. A fun feature is when the butterflies wing from object to object. Has relaxing music and social media function to share your garden and the thought for today.

Bad Sand effect, not worth it.

If you are expecting a sand garden which you can manipulate similar to real sand, this is not the app. Running your finger through the sand does not give you the feeling it is real sand, rather feels like your using a "paint" or Photoshop program with a special brush. The application Pocket Pond HD feels like you are interacting with water, which is what makes it special and that is what this app needs...better interaction and sand graphics. This app would be good if they really re-did the whole sand and layers.

This app is worth 99 cents until they fix this problem. I will change my review when it gets fixed!!

Beautiful

What a wonderful app. It is absolutely beautiful and really shows off the iPad. I have the iPhone version too and the iPad version is a whole new experience. Great job. I love the gallery feature and that I can take snapshots of my own gardens.

Visually stunning -- A benchmark for great iPad apps!

This app is simply beautiful. The attention to detail is evident, from the high resolution lighting and detail on each artifact, to the shadows under elements which move with the accelerometer. This app carries an extensive library of objects and zen quotes, and social features for sharing created gardens and zen sayings. iZen Garden has two competitors: itself (iZen Garden for the iPhone, which is a great app), and other first-to-market iPad apps. On the first count, I was really impressed that it wasn't a mere adaptation of the iPhone app, which would have been perfectly acceptable. It didn't cop-out and support only one orientation like many of this rush-to-the-store apps, but rather it is truly made for the iPad. I've got an iPad full of apps already, and many of them are buggy, and a number of them are hasty ports. This is the real deal. Other iPad app developers should put an asterisk by this app -- definitely a benchmark for apps which want to stand out.
