Lots of potential, but broken…..

Like another reviewer, this does not draw the gui reliably in Drambo. I will reach out to devs but I’m unimpressed that they only officially support one DAW. One man band devs, such as 4 Pockets or Bram Bos, have no probs supporting all major AUv3 hosts, so why does a huge developer lazily cop out? It’s good that Izotope let us check the demo out, and I like the 4-way blend x/y pad and wide range of algorithms. Frustrating, as I’d probably have bought it.
A workaround to force a gui redraw is to turn the iPad screen off then on.

My favorite distortion app

I love the sound and it’s flexibility and versatility!

No custom waveshaper no buy

How do you go from the greatest distortion plugin ever made to this.

One simple thing, customizable transfer curve.

Why on earth would you not include this?

Logic only.

Removed a ton of functionality from Trash 2, Logic is subscription only. Boooooo. Shame.

Underrated and very useful

I probably use this differently to its main intention or target market. I make ambient sound scapes so distortion isn’t something you’d instantly grab as part of your toolkit but Trash is so much more than adding noise. It’s adds space, flavour, grit and texture to mixes. Yeah it’s great at making noise too. One thing you should be aware of, it’s a bit of a resource hog in AUM and works best if you up the buffer from 256 to 1024.
