Just not for me
I really wanted to like this app but I had to jump through so many hoops to get it set up and get my band connected. I personally am just not someone who needs to gamify my workouts to feel motivated but I totally understand why others would love it if they struggle with daily exercise.
Great fun with exercise
I got this in October 2025 and love it. The app is very easy to navigate. I can cast it to my TV and follow along! I love the walking and running. The graphics are really neat. It works very well and is so motivating!!
Just the motivation I needed
Exercising on my own is hard, but playing the game and earning prizes motivates me. I have used the Jmate, JRun, and JBike. This is a great app and easily gets me to move.
Fun, Motivating Workout for the Whole Family! 🥊⭐
I absolutely love the Jacfit Jmate fitness boxing tracker! It's easy to set up, fun to use, and has made exercising feel exciting again — plus it’s become a great way to connect and play with my kids while we all get active. The tracker is responsive and motivating, and I noticed I stick to workouts more because it feels like a game instead of a chore. Great build, simple controls, and excellent for family time and fitness. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, effective way to move more and involve their children!

Glitchy
The avatar doesn't always walk. It will walk for a bit and then stop. There isn't a program where you can walk with other walkers. They are all running. I will go back to Zwift
Nice addition to those who use treadmills!!
The Jacfit running module is a must for those who tend to not jog/run as they want to. It’s easy to set up, just a wrist and ankle strap. The fun part is you collect coins as you past other runners. 😄 and there are several sceneries to choose from. Also, it’s reasonably priced with no subscription. Highly recommended!!

NICE APP BUT NEEDS APPLE TV VERSION ASAP
I like the app but it needs a native version for the larger Apple TV. I how to he developers create one really soon. It would be very convenient for Apple TV owners.
Fun, but…
I like the app, but I wish you would include the Puerto Rico flag. We are a U.S. territory, but we have our own flag. Maybe that’s not important for working out, but I would love for you to take it into consideration. I really like the app, it motivates me more to exercise.
Not worth the hassle
Only connects to the JACFIT speed sensor, won’t connect to cadence or heart rate monitor and works until it crashes 30s into the workout. Tried multiple times and it’s just a waste of time.
Great Customer Service and Product
I was skeptical at first not knowing if I would really enjoy this. I had an issue with it that they promptly took care of. In the meantime, I was able to utilize the Jacfit. I am overwhelmed by how much fun it is to use. It actually pushed me to work out longer than I had intended. Because of this, I am excited to continue my workouts primarily using my Jacfit. What a fun way to exercise!!!

Good App, But…
I like the app and when it works it is a great way to keep motivated. However, the app often crashes and won’t allow you to save your ride information. I have been using it for about a week and have not been able to save any data or record the “J” coins I have collected along the route. Therefore, I can’t level up on avatar gear or unlock new cycling environments.
Also, your speed (and, therefore, your calories burned) is dependent on where you place the magnets for the sensor on your flywheel. So, there is no standardization on the workout you are getting.
Hopefully a new update is coming soon that will fix these problems and improve the experience.

Interactive Fun Workout
Love to walk with Jacfit. Let’s you focus on community and pushing to pass those near you. Before you know it you’ve met your exercise goal.
Too glitchy
App crashes and closes frequently. It never saves roaming run data. It says uploading file and then the app shuts down. The sensors must not keep up well because it shows I’m stopped or barely moving even though I have not slowed my pace. There’s no directions on how anything works. Also the battery life of the sensor devices are horrible and not rechargeable. You need a new button cell battery every day.

New update has great graphics but I’ve lost two rides because they aren’t saving
I use my Jacfit in spin class to upload my class to Strava. Since the new update it is not letting me save my rides. Hopefully they can get this bug fixed. Then I’d bump my review to a 4
Super cool app
I just connected my Jacfit and it's amazing. I'll tell you how it's working for me later, but from what I can see, it's going to be amazing.
Extremely Disappointing Support Experience with Jacfit
I recently purchased a Jacfit device, but it has been plagued with connectivity issues from the start. I reached out to the support team multiple times via email, but I never received any response. This lack of communication has made the entire experience incredibly frustrating.
Not only does the device itself have significant problems, but the absence of a customer support phone number makes it even more difficult to resolve any issues. I regret purchasing this product, as I now feel stuck with a non-functional device and no way to get assistance. It feels like a complete waste of money.

Does Not Work
Bought 3 sets of the equipment for Christmas and downloaded the app. It took probably a half hour to download the app. The app does not work, and the company violates their own return policy by refusing to assist in the returns. When trying to login to the app, after entering login and code we received, the app just spins and spins and never starts. If I could give this negative stars, I would. Save yourself the money and frustration and pass this one by.
