Annoying keeps asking for login and security code via email.
Why since this year it asks to login and validate every time I start the app.
Jaguar Charging doesn’t work
The most recent update has removed Jaguar Charging only a week after it launched. I’ve paid the £10 registration and received the charging card that I now can’t activate. Total waste of time. Thanks Jag, you need to test your updates more thoroughly, looks like a rushed launch.
Watch app no longer works
The watch app requires user to log in on the phone each time you want to use the watch app, which rather defeats the purpose of having a watch app. This never used to be the case. Please rectify.
Cumbersome Log In
This app was great until the last update. Since then, and I realize this is my personal experience, it no longer works with Apple Watch. Additionally, each time I use it with my iPhone it takes multiple log in steps to access the controls. Previously, all it required was Face ID, and occasionally PIN entry. Once logged in, the rest of the app is fine, however, with the time it takes to access the controls, it’s easier and faster to simply go to the car and start it. Hoping they will correct this sometime soon.

No longer a good App
Used to use this all the time when signing in was easy. Now I need facial recognition and an email with a new passcode sent to my email address each time I open it. I don’t even need to do that for my bank log in. Awful awful awful.
Useless
I’ve had this app for 6 years and every time it seems stable (after hours of fiddling with it) I get more issues. I’ve now given up. Would put it on my list of 5 most temperamental and fiddly apps.
List of Issues Experienced.
- when you added a second vehicle it too >2 hours with the car sales person to successfully set up.
- you can’t change your account details in the app. You have log into a website that Jaguar keeps changing the URL and the relevant page is buried. When you save updates it’s not obvious whether they have been applied.
- Locking an unlocked car remotely has never worked for me.
- Can’t change my email address. Forces you into a death spiral of doing the same thing and then won’t accept your changes.
- No support for this app, from within the app itself. You’re just referred to a website which is basically a marketing and sales site.
- They made it next to impossible to even see if the car is charging.
- Multiple Subsciptions which amount to hundreds of $ and again all with no support or instructions.
Basically Jaguar InControl is, in my opinion a gimmick. It’s fiddly to use, has no support and its main purpose is to sell subscriptions. Awful

Time consuming new logins
This was a decent app but now I'm having to keep logging in with a password and can't enable face ID without some sort of passkey nonsense. Please return it to easy to use
Was great, now rubbish
Used to get in through facial recognition, easy to use app. Now it keeps getting stuck. One minute it forgets to load, then you try to login and it comes up with error. Leave it an hour and works again.
Used to be great
Like many other have said, in the past several weeks I have been having to use a passkey (Face ID alone is not enough) sent via email to access. This is so inconvenient. I tried to delete app and reinstall and not I can’t get in at all. Jaguar, please take on board the feedback and resolve this issue.

Don’t love the latest changes
I like the app, particularly the ability to remote start the car and reminder to lock my car. I don’t like no the latest update continues to log me out and then forces me to go to my email to get a code in order to two factor authenticate by email. And then after getting into the ap I have to enter my pin twice. At least give me the option to get the code via SMS. Not a great user experience.

Love the car would like to upgrade but since Jaguar went woke and only making electric it’s impossible

Have to log in every time. New charging feature does not appear. Jag assist took a week to respond to a message on Facebook, and didn’t actually propose anything useful.

Surprised how good this Jaguar app works!
Our family bought THREE new Jags (July 2026). We have been with BMW for ages and for the most part the BMW app is really good (not Tesla app good though). We are all so happily surprised how fast the Jaguar InControl app works. We live in a VERY hot area, so we use the app daily to pre-cool our Jags. The app does not open as quick as BMW, but the commands go through instantly! So far, not a single failed command or “oops something went wrong” message (talking to you BMW, lol). I pray Jaguar Cars survive and they continue to support this great app. JLR…please keep Jaguar alive and purring. Such an iconic company and amazing cars need to be around forever :)

What have they done???
I used to love this app. Had to use it a lot as my iPace doesn’t have a reduced charge for solar so using granny lead, and check app ~5 times a day. It’s now appalling…. I have to log in every time and wait for an email. 5 times a day. Come on Jaguar do something about this….
Auth gone mad
At some point recently, Jaguar made you do a full 2FA auth every time you open the app. This just isn’t practical when you merely want to fire up the aircon remotely.
Ruined
This used to be a good app but since the last update it’s as good as useless. It wants 4 bits of information to login. Crazy.
Sadly it’s a symptom of Jaguar, it’s too small to do things properly these days.
Need reverting to previous version. It’s now much quicker to walk to your car to put anything on or Off or start basic functions like heating & cooling.

Latest update loses Jaguar charging
You have recently added the new Jaguar charging within the remote app, however every time I try and find it it doesn’t appear and a need to completely log out of the app and log back in again. As others have said this is now very laborious and means I am unlikely to ever use Jaguar charging except for the fact that I have a £10 credit taken when I registered.
