Unless your instructors speak with a Canadian/American/English accent, forget it!
Overall, I was happy with the phone app/laptop version for my classes, until it got to my second semester using Jamworks.
The software doesn’t interpret accented voices well AT ALL, to the point where I didn’t even have notes that are accurate in the AI generated summaries or key points. So, after spending $100 for a subscription, I ended up needing to do it all myself on my own time for 3/5 of my classes, all because my instructors had accents.
For an app that supposed to help people with accommodations, complete garbage unless you’re learning from someone with an English/American/Canadian accent. I wish I picked Glean or something Canadian.

Confused
First, I couldn’t signup on the app. Then the design was confusing so I ended up finding a Canadian solution.

Better than Otter omi
I’m lucky that I got to try Jamworks before my college disability office switched to Otter, because I could compare the experience of using both apps in lectures. Jamworks is much better suited for an academic setting, and I was floored at how general and non-technical the other app was when I looked at summaries, key points and AI functions for studying. The app is reliable, easy to use, and accessible on all of my devices. It has been a game changer to my study and learning experience as a non-traditional, returning student with learning disabilities.

Very helpful
My review score is to balance the score right now. I used this app last semester and it was incredibly helpful. I’m not sure if there are better sites available but I found its explanations of lectures and ability to ask about lectures incredibly convenient
