Audio does not work
As the other reviewer said, the audio does not work on iPhone.
It has worked in the past on and off but now it doesn’t work at all.
It used to only work if using earphones, but now never. It is not a useful app which is disappointing as it’s supposed to support the text book that I purchased. Should be refunded honestly, does not deliver the service I paid for.

No Audio
Could not get audio to work (iPhone 12, iOS 16.5). Don’t waste your time & money. Audio, however, does work with the revised 4th edition of this app.
Audio Works Well!
Audio is working just fine. Give this little app a try especially if using with the book. Very pleased. Well worth it!
Good complement to text book
I am running this on an 8th Generation iPad and it works well with no problems regarding sound. I find it a most useful and convenient complement to the book — well worth the price. And the settings do allow one to set Japanese or Romanized characters.
