Audio does not work
As the other reviewer said, the audio does not work on iPhone.
It has worked in the past on and off but now it doesn’t work at all.
It used to only work if using earphones, but now never. It is not a useful app which is disappointing as it’s supposed to support the text book that I purchased. Should be refunded honestly, does not deliver the service I paid for.

No Audio
Could not get audio to work (iPhone 12, iOS 16.5). Don’t waste your time & money. Audio, however, does work with the revised 4th edition of this app.
Audio Works Well!
Audio is working just fine. Give this little app a try especially if using with the book. Very pleased. Well worth it!
Good complement to text book
I am running this on an 8th Generation iPad and it works well with no problems regarding sound. I find it a most useful and convenient complement to the book — well worth the price. And the settings do allow one to set Japanese or Romanized characters.
Audio playback does not work
Audio playback does not work for any of the lessons.
No sound
As with others, sound worked for a while and then stopped. I’m very surprised it’s technologically so poor because in Japan technology works - ticket machines, vending machines etc. Very strange that the problem hasn’t been resolved. It can’t be that hard to correct the sound problem because many apps use sound without issue.

You need to turn on the sound, that is one thing to remember but otherwise very good app.
Audio doesn’t work
The listening comprehension exercises and the audio tracks to go with the text book are why one would purchase this app. The app’s audio is broken. Therefore, the app is unfortunately basically useless.

Sound is not working!
Someone please update the app and do something about the sound. My teacher recommended me this app so I downloaded it regardless of the reviews here. I thought it would be updated by now since the reviews were from last year or so. But nope nothing has changed. It’s as if the developers just ignored the reviews. I am not happy about this at all and I know others feel the same way too.

Audio doesn’t play
I bought the app to go with the book that used with my Japanese Class. However, it does play any audio.

As others have reported, the sound doesn’t work 😞. Dunno why it works for some and not others.
No sound on PLAY on an iPad
Like so many other reviewers, I bought this app in order to hear the language. I assumed the sound problem would be fixed by now. The App works ok on my iPhone. But like the other reviewers - I get no sound on an iPad.
Very useful app
I am currently studying the book and this app is helping me a lot to memorize and review . I love it . I hope they will release the app for the second book .i did not experience any audio issues .
