No longer a good option for learning.

This WAS a good app two years ago when I was in Japan. I was able to search for and save certain phrases to a list, have it say them to me, hear and practice the pronunciation and use it when I was in Japan.

I redownloaded it, to see how it was these days before recommending it to a friend for her upcoming travels. The speech function no longer works making the app somewhat useless for her as a non Japanese speaking person hoping to learn to pronounce a few key phrases before travel. Wouldn’t recommend to friends with its current functionality issues.

Almost a decade

I’ve had this app for probably close to a decade and its still my go to. It’s my trusty true dictionary

Good

Good but don’t go on parts of speech and then nouns

Great App! Just Needs Some Updates

I use this app every day as I learn Japanese. The “Speak”function that provides pronunciation of words is great, however, it only works intermittently. It’s not possible to hear the pronunciation of multiple words unless the app is closed then reopened.
Are there any plans to update the app? If so, please update this function. Thanks, D
