good, kinda anonymous wallet
good for small amounts of crypto, easy to buy on there and you dont have to put ur ID and whole info on it
So, my wallet replaced w/last update?
Nice work. So, I *had* a wallet that had been working just fine in Jaxx Liberty app for a few years. There must have been an app update recently because it asked me to agree to some things (no biggie I thought), then generated a passphrase (hrmmm what?) then whaddaya know? No coins in wallet?
So where’s my old wallet? And why would it just generate a new one without prompting me to perform some backup? Admittedly the value of those coin had dropped precipitously recently and I very rarely use cryptocurrencies, but they had cost me a few hundred dollars about eight years ago. It would be irritating if value goes up to something worthwhile.
Seriously, what the heck?

About missing Ethereum
Hi, for those who used Jaxx to store ETH like in 2017 and don't find them anymore in their Jaxx wallet, please do not desperate. The ETH are still there but the wallet cannot find them. It happened after they phased out the HD address system. Jaxx support has documented how to recover the ETH. Basically ETH are stored under several different addresses and Jaxx was consolidating all those address under the wallet, but later they phased that out and only 1 address was kept and all the other addresses were ignored even if they held ETH. So there is a manual input to do where you can force restore of those address and recover the ETH. Again, look into Jaxx for support and Reddit.

Ethereum stolen from account
I have used this app for over 5 years. I mostly just watch my Ethereum I invested back in 2017. Last month I checked on it and it was gone. Someone had transferred it out of my account to another wallet. I contacted the company about this and they sent me a stock email response warning about giving your information to strangers on the internet. This of course never happened. I haven’t given anyone information on that wallet and don’t have the password saved on any of my devices. I am sorry now that I trusted this company with my Ethereum. Don’t make that mistake

Holds your crypto hostage
I am able to move whatever coins are supported into Jaxx, but discovered I cannot move them out. Great, right? I get an error message every time and all Jaxx can offer is useless 101 troubleshooting. One message even admits currently just can’t be withdrawn in some areas! What?! Don’t use Jaxx. It is less that worthless.
