Worst written app ever

The delay between tha app connecting to Bluetooth and actually being able to do anything is way too long. I know my fresh tank is empty because I don’t travel with water in the tanks and I am at full hookups. Good luck getting an awning out using the app without it stopping and starting 10 times. Bmpro and Jayco are not listening to their customers and it shows. No one cares at jayco.

Remote connection.

If it would only do what it’s designed for it would be cool. Jayco needs to change a better system from someone else.

Need background refresh

This system should be a lot better than what it is. It’s so hard to believe RV manufacturers fell for this bag of trash. There are safety issues and concerns. Without app refresh there is no way to know if your tires are going low heating up etc… the propane sensors are a joke again without app refreshing in the background you will never know you are getting low on propane. They tell you for cloud support you need a good WiFi connection but refuse to tell you what that means. For some reason on Apple devices my watch will give a detail of an alert that the phone won’t.

Ehhh

It hardly ever works

Not a buying point

This system is over thought and under executed. While we haven’t been stranded because of it just brings on another tension point. It turns lights off - it turns lights off. Same with heat. And not when asked. And often it doesn’t do when asked. I’ve got no idea how this idea became a reality. And being that the app hasn’t been updated in a year - my guess is that it’s been abandoned. The team member running it either got a non deserved promotion or laid off when the execs needed a place to cut money.

Nothing works consistently.

No help from BMPRO. Cannot talk to anyone only via email.

Nonexistent cloud

The cloud is worthless won’t connect if it does it doesn’t show the correct information and then disconnects

App is ok when connected via Bluetooth

App works ok when connected via Bluetooth but it is worthless connecting to the “cloud”. Connection is no -existent. It is essentially worthless once you get over 50 ft. from your RV.
Do better, developers. This is garbage. Why would Jayco associate itself with an app that is useless?

Background App Refresh???

Not for sure what the developers were thinking here. Sure… let’s add tank levels, temperature sensors, and TPMS to an App that doesn’t support background refreshing. What I’m trying to say is… if you do not have this app open and looking at it on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, etc), you will never get notifications telling you important information.

Here’s a scary thought… you use the TPMS for JayCommand and also use your iPhone to provide GPS to get to your next stop. Your tire blows on the way to your next destination. You think, “why didn’t the TPMS warn me?” Well, because this app doesn’t update in the background it cannot send you notifications that something bad is about to happen.

For the developers of this app, this is a major oversight. You support cloud connections and Bluetooth, but not background refreshing or push notifications?? That decision doesn’t make any sense and leaves more than half of your users wondering why they don’t get warned about things.

Is your tank full? Who knows. You won’t unless you open the app and wait for it to refresh.

Outside of this, I enjoy the smart capabilities of the JayCommand and BMPro. The developers just need to invest some time and effort to ensure the app is functioning correctly to send you notifications regardless if the app is on or in the background.

Absolute trash

This app is so unreliable, when all your controls are dependent on an app and it doesn’t work the majority of the time Jayco should consider getting away from this garbage.

Lame duck app

Worked like a champ at first…now for the last few months will not connect AT ALL.

Problems Every Time

When it works it great. It works 20% of the time. Meh.

Android play, CarPlay

Wish the app would work with CarPlay so you can have the tire pressure monitor on your screen and easier to access

Almost

Does somethings well and other things poorly. Right now I’d just like my wife and both to be able to use the app. But apparently only one person can connect at a time. Not helpful.

New Update from BRPRO WORKS

The new update has fixed all the issues that have been causing cloud issues and things not working for the past 6-8 month. Update 3.18.2. You must update the app on your device and the app on the RV control panel. All the controls work just like they used to over WiFi or Bluetooth now.

The cloud never works!!!

What is the deal with this? I’m logged into the cloud but there is a line through the cloud and it will not remotely control my RV through the cloud!

Does the job but needs work

Have this on my phone and ipad. It works, but why cant the ipad duplicate the look of the android tablet used in the camper? Even on a new android tablet it looks like an iphone port.

Meh

When it works - it works great. Lately though - I cannot access the RV remotely like I should be able to. I log in for remote connection through the table inside the RV and through the app on my phone but it never works. So, the phone app is basically worthless. Tablet inside the RV still works for now. If that stops working I won’t be able to control anything in my RV which is kind of a piss poor design.
