Didn’t work for me

Endless mucking around trying to connect app to EonOne Compact to update firmware… tried 2x android phones then an iPad, always just hangs on ‘connect’. Waste of time.

Do better

Can’t even get through a firmware update. Bad software.

Won’t connect on outdated iOS

If you’re having trouble connecting to your speaker using this app, an iPadOS update might fix it. Did for me.

Não consigo atualizar o Firmware

Pessimo

It is unacceptable that in 2026, JBL offers high-end hardware controlled by software that excludes blind users. The JBL Pro Connect app is an accessibility desert: unlabelled buttons, faders that do not respond to VoiceOver, and a purely visual interface that ignores basic assistive navigation guidelines.
As a professional musician, I rely on precise sound adjustments, but JBL's disregard for accessibility forces me to seek competing brands that offer physical controls or apps that respect the user. I appeal to the developers: update the code so that screen readers can identify the commands. Technology that does not include is obsolete technology.

Bad

Just awful. Expect to perform a factory reset at least once a month to try and fix some bug. Currently, the master EQ does not work.

На работает

В чем проблема ? Нормально работали же на старом приложении. Теперь не работает никакое.

EON One - EQ - NA

App EQ non functional. None of the app EQ controls work. I do have the most current firmware.

Works ok 4 me on Eon One Compact

I just bought a new Eon One Compact and no way would the advised app work with it. I found the amp is running V6 firmware and THIS is the app for that firmware. If yours is on V5 firmware or lower, use the other but it will not work with V6 firmware. Make sure to check for updates once this app is installed

One compact

Good afternoon! My JBL Eon One Compact speakers have poor Bluetooth connectivity. Could you please tell me if you will release a new firmware update for these speakers?

Rubbish

Neither of your apps work with my Jbl Eon compact. So useless.

Pro Connect V2.3

Nice Controls. BTW, Is it v2 or v2.3?

terrible app

JBL PRX One is for professional musicians but the app is lack of basic functions of a digital mixer, slow response.

Ion one compact

After updating to firmware version 6.3.8 JBL One Compact, my two speakers stopped functioning properly and are constantly experiencing audio distortion/glitches.

Doesnt work

with EON 710

3 years running with no issues

I’ve been using JBL PRX Ones, 710s, 918xlfs and Eon Compacts for about 3 years. Most of the time I am mixing through a separate board as it’s a large band. Occassionally we will have a smaller group and I will use the PRX One onboard mixer or even the Compact’s mixer.

When using a separate board, I will typically use the app to make sure the speakers are all configured correctly. The app makes it quite easy to make sure everything is set up right and improvements over the years have made presets more useful to get the job done faster.

When using on-board mixers, I have had no complaints. It’s important to remember the app is not a substitute for a separate $1000+ mixing setup. Even with a great mixer, phone apps are notoriously squirrelly because you have limited space for visibility and gestures. It is possible to do live mixing with the app, but there are compromises. If you require fast response console type control, this isn’t it. If you can set up the song and make adjustments with some leeway, it works great. The capabilities are pretty darn good considering that it is using the DSP in a speaker that costs less than a good console.

It’s not always the most intuitive but it has tremendous capability and has always worked well and done what I needed. Some ongoing improvements in UI would be good and presets and groups keep getting better. JBL has been very responsive to user requests and those requests regularly show up in firmware and app updates. Not every request gets implemented and yes, there have been occasional rollout bugs but I have never been in a situation where my ability to use the system as expected is impossible.

I do follow the firmware update instructions as specified, and I don’t do a firmware update right before a gig.

Overall, I am quite happy with JBLs ongoing support of the product offerings.

Doesn’t connect

Good when you can connect and use!

Turned speakers into junk

They have been promising to fix the bug that broke the EON speakers for TWS pairing since March/April. The tech support team says the ‘work around’ works and will call you a liar when you show them it doesn’t. We would give this app and team who are updating it with the speaker firmware -5 stars if it was possible. Tech support is horrible too. We definitely have buyers remorse!

JBL

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC AND not user friendly. Does not handle updates or programming at all. Been a dj for. 40 years and I’ve never had more issues with a product than this. I spent thousands on speakers that are useless. No sound. No assignments Locks out periodically
