Update: algorithms are jacked. Live in Texas with 25 mile radius and JD is suggesting people in PA, WI, OH, even south Texas, etc. Friends reporting same issue. Not paying for this service until these basics are fixed.
Since the major overhaul, I’m unable to access the app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled. I’ve changed password. I get message that I can’t connect to the server. Maybe it’s a blessing, since I’ve never had luck on this site. Must be paying member to see any messsges (explains why I feel ghosted) and there are rarely new members. The matchmaker service is a ploy to increase revenue on our wallets.

A truly awful app
This app is unusable without paying a heap of money for it and it signs me out randomly even after that. No one responds (though that’s pretty common). If you want to meet Jewish people and fall in love, try joining a synagogue.

Very poor design, freezes up. The old App was better.
Doesn’t work
I’ve made an account and tried to log in about 10 times on my app. The app each time gives me an error message. I’ve deleted it and tried again and again. It will let me login and then do nothing from there. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded it. Can’t even try the app to see if I like it.

Not user friendly at all. The format is limited and doesn’t allow easy communication.

Not inclusive
I was very excited to try out this app, however upon indicating a non-standard sexual orientation, the app proceeded to crash and wouldn’t allow me to finish creating my profile. Sad to see the app creators do not support the LGBTQ+ community.
Preference search control
I’m glad for some of the new changes that was made to your app and website interface but taking out the option for us the users to control our preferences is the worst decision ever made. I only have 5 matches and they are same faces showing up. Your previous options where I could get to see a list of people in the region of my search preferences was the best . Now I get to see who you decide to make me see when I’m the one paying and looking for a relationship not YOU !!!

From bad to worse
The app was not the most advanced and lacked others in ease of use. However, it became even worse after the recent upgrade.
Don’t purchase!!
Don’t purchase- they just revamped it, and it looked like it was gonna be better, but it really isn’t user-friendly and the people on it don’t seem very serious. And even though you set up your settings, they don’t actually work.

Fraud
I’ve reached out to support 7 times and unsubscribed each time - they will not delete your data - This company is breaking privacy laws. It’s January 2025 today. In 2001 I created a JDate account. I deleted my data and account several times. Most recently last week. I’ve not been dating over 4 years, and off this platform since 2003. I hear from friends and family here and there that my photos are being used and that I’m marked as “active” on this site. Again, last week I started getting emails from JDATE about dating tips. I responded again stating I’ve deleted my account and data. They’ve emailed me back a long list of personal data requests to confirm my identity to remove me from the platform. I’m married. I warn everyone not to share their data with JDATE - This is a dangerous platform to share data. Don’t risk your photos - you’ll be “active” and online as long as they keep using your photos - for me it’s over 20 years and they’re still doing it. Attention 20 year old girls - I’m in my 40’s and I’m not online - I’m married - but JDATE will show you I’m online and “active” despite the fact I’ve deleted my profile and they’ve confirmed they removed my data. JDate App
The app won’t open. I’ve deleted it and downloaded it again and it just stays on the branding logo and won’t go past that.
Just. Doesnt. Work.
Often times it just doesn't work. Not a whole lot to say after that.

We met on Jdate 10 years ago and got married 3.5 years ago. Jdate helped us to find each other when we were going through a very difficult time. We are very happy together. Thank you JDate!

You will never ever ever find a match on this website. If you do, I will personally give you $100,000! Not only our most profiles fake but this is a place for exploitation and nobody is interested in any dating or anything related to dating. This website is made for people who want to see who else is there and that is the most you’ll get from it!

App keeps crashing after iOS update
App keeps crashing every time I have tried to open it after most recent iOS update. You should investigate and get an update out there.
