Straightforward App
Solid app. It’s a HYSA, so not going to be a highly featured app, but what it has works very well. Haven’t run into any bugs yet.
Where’s the transaction info?
Every transaction is ACH Withdrawal or Deposit, it’s a mystery what every transaction is, the app is useless until you add this.
ERROR ERROR ERROR
This app used to work for me. But now, everytime I go into the app to check my account, I keep getting an error message, saying my credentials are invalid. But when I go on the site, my same credentials work. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled this app so many times and it keeps giving the same result.

App is Good for phone, no landscape orientation for iPad (which is my preferred device)

Recommend Zynlo or OpenBank or NewTek bank instead if looking for reliable high APY account. Most of this banks customer service team is awful, lazy, not knowledgeable and lacks basic customer service skills. To get even just a basic question answered they often first give out wrong information or refuse to help. I had to ask details about a deposit and timeline for when it would finalize, they said they don’t have access to see any information on any deposit details. Which makes no sense since they are the bank in which transaction happened. Spent 15 min with the rep refusing to do their job. Asked for supervisor who answered question correctly with needed info within 2 min. Deposits take forever to clear often times with this bank. And they use high interest rate to get customers in the door then lower rate immediately after. Awful bank. Transferring to another bank immediately and closing account.

⚠️Don’t get this bank
I open this savings account to starting billing my savings. Thinking with this being a new online bank it would be a great start. Got threw application process which was easy but still had to wait a day or two before account was officially opened. Got email it was opened sent up account then link external account which was another process to be approved another 3 days. Finally got it approved then when tried logging in next day account was locked. Call customer service she said she would have to put a ticket in it’s under investigation which idk why cause it clearly shows my name on account. She told me they would reach out to me. Week later I get a email saying account was closed. No call no reason why what a waste of time. And glad I didn’t put money on this bank it’s a hassle before u even do.

Great App
I’ve been using Jenius bank for over a year . They really improve the app constantly and I always find what I want very seamlessly, I have a savings account and the navigation is easy and the transactions are clear and in order . No problems and very functional
Login freezes my IPad
Love the Bank. The app works fine on my iPhone. However, when I start it on my IPad, the screen orientation switches and in 2 out of 3 times during a login attempt with Face ID, my iPad completely freezes. Not even the long button press to power down the IPad works. Hope to get someone’s attention from Jenius here. I had never a logon problem like this with any of my other application on my iPad.

App isn’t working
Can’t log In. Also the website isn’t working.
App doesn’t work
App doesn’t work, reached out to support and it still doesn’t work days later. Can’t access my money.
Limited options for deposits
Unless you have direct deposit available to you, then there’s really no great way to get your money into your accounts. Even depositing using checks is limited and they might make you mail certain ones in. I’d rather just have my money in my accounts and make sure I know where it’s going. Just a heads up, the APR’s are great, it’s just a shame.

Always requesting password
Every so many logins, the app starts demanding password instead of Face ID. I have long, complicated passwords and so this means I am constantly locked out until I can get back home and dig out the password to finally be able to get in. Other than this, the app is fine. I do like how the APR is listed front and center. But overall, the app is completely worthless if I can’t get in, and for that reason, only rated one star.

PLEASE FIX LOGIN
I can’t sign in the app and it says invalid credentials but I can sign in easily on the website. I like the bank but the app as of right now unusable FOR ME!

Good start
Needs to have access to statements and the ability hide accounts that are no longer open. It will be interesting to see how this app evolves. The app is missing interest that is YTD and Prior YTD. Also, it would be nice to that the app is viewable in landscape mode instead of only portrait mode.
They will steal your money
Don’t waste your time I’m filing a law Suite against them nothing but a scam
Face id works sometimes
I got this app when it was first released a few months ago and there have been numerous times that Face ID does not work. It’ll work for several log-ins and then it’ll say “Error: Please log in with your username and password”. I will then log in as requested and it’ll work for couple of days and then it’ll happen again. It’s definitely annoying.

App crashes upon launch.
Poorly made app.
Face ID doesn’t work
App Is very basic but sufficient in that it allows me to see transactions, make transfers, and it lists my interest rate front and center—unlike other apps who try to bury it so you don’t see when it drops. Up until recently, the app worked just fine but now Face ID is broken. I updated to see if that fixes it and no such luck. I rarely have my password on me so this has rendered the app nearly useless at the moment. Beyond fixing Face ID, I’d love to see daily accrued interest. With Face ID fix, App would be a four.
