What's New in Jersey Beach, Weather & Tides

1.4.0

September 4, 2026

A new look. The cards are translucent now, so the sky behind them shows through the whole app — and that sky still follows the real sun, from dawn through golden hour to night. Also in this update: • Beach pages open as a card lifted over the list, and close with a flick down. You can see where you came from behind them. • The map button is the shape of Jersey, drawn from the real coastline. • The island map is light again, which reads far better against the sky. • Causeways and marina gates now tell you what they are doing and when that changes, instead of saying both in one sentence. Six crossings are readable at a glance. • Tap the top of the forecast card on Today to open the full week. • The scrolling strips of hours now dissolve at both ends rather than cutting off, whatever the weather or the hour. Every screen was checked at dawn, midday, golden hour and night, on both an iPhone and an Android phone, because the app looks different at each.
