What's New in A Fish in the Kitchen

1.11

September 6, 2026

Join a cookbook with a code Owners can now share a join code instead of sending an invite email — whoever redeems it joins with the account they already have, so there is no email address to get wrong. You'll find it under Invite. Add a recipe or a tip from one place The + button now carries a Recipe / Tip toggle, so a tap on the wrong form is one flick from the right one. Shopping list Tap a recipe in your list to open it. Your own typed items now stay in the order you added them, newest at the top, and ticked items keep that order too. Cook Mode The photo you take of the finished dish can now be enhanced with AI, the same way the recipe editor does it. A new look where there is no photo yet Recipes and cookbook covers without a photo now show a Kookbook page rather than a grey box.

User reviews

BEST cookbook app ever

I have used many recipe apps over the years and this one is by far the best yet! The AI reads and checks my recipe in and the cooking function means I can cook step by step, with timers. It’s amazing. I especially love sharing the recipes with my family. Buying it as a wedding gift too
