Paid off immediately!

I was a bit skeptical, but I travel a lot for work and decided to give it a try. As soon as I signed up I sent 3 flights in and within 24 hours I had about $100 back on one of the flights. A couple days later the same flight have me another $150 back for a total of $250 for on flight. I verified that nothing changed in terms of flight details and the credit is in my account with the airline. Wow!

no thanks

nope

Just get it

I was obviously skeptical, but a friend recommended the app, and it’s amazing. It’s already paid for itself in credits (and even got me back miles/points)! Awesome customer service too. The app missed a lower flight price due to a bug, and they gave me a gift card instead. Love it!

It works

Pretty straightforward. Works as advertised. I fly several times a month and it has paid for itself easily. Id say you probably need $5k in annual spend to make it worthwhile

Membership

Should state somewhere before you download that it does cost $99/year.

Already made back the price of the app

Within two months of downloading the app, JetBack had already paid for itself! I didn’t have to do a single thing — JetBack did it all. I look forward to seeing how much more I can get back on reservations during the rest of the year.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for your review and for sharing your experience. I’m really glad to hear that JetBack paid for itself within two months! That’s exactly what we aim for. I hope you continue to save and get even more back on your flights this year!

SCAMMERS

They told me if they weren’t able to save me money I could get my money back. They were not able to save me anything and now refuse to send my refund. They said I have to wait a year to be able to get any refund which is not what they told me prior to sign up. DONT BUY THIS JUNK

Generally works but a hassle

The app seems to work. But be careful your seat doesn’t change. Also you don’t get flight credits. You get residual credits which means you can’t use them to book a flight yourself. You literally have to call the airline and book the flight over the phone and provide them with all the credit numbers. Which could be a huge hassle if you have a bunch of little credits. So just be aware. Appears to save you money but have to work to use the savings.

Hi there! No need to call to book your flight, just book with your credits as you normally do! We also keep seats the same. No changes to your booking except for the price you pay!

This. Is. Real.

For me to leave a review on the App Store means I truly value and love this app. I was very skeptical at first because of the annual fee, but let me just say I’ve been refunded by my airline 13X the amount this app costs. It’s truly amazing! Now I have all these credits and refunds to use for future flights. Not all flights get price drops but that’s the nature of the beast. I would give this a try if you are flyer in the US. Happy Traveling!

Not a scam, works great!

Overall I love this app. The interface and functionality could be improved but it does what it says it does.

I purchased this app in summer 2025 and figured I’d try it for a year and see if it was worth it. I fly about once a month. I meticulously use google flights to track flight prices and will call the airline for a refund if I see the price go down. What I don’t like about google flights is you can’t set the alerts to notify you if it goes below a certain price. It will email you every time the price changes so this method pretty much requires constant monitoring to know when to call and you might miss the window if you don’t check before the price has gone up again. This app automates that whole process. For me that has been 100% worth it just for the time and effort saved.

The cons: it works better for some airlines than others. I’ve successfully gotten credits from delta, United, and southwest. JetBlue, while you can add it to Jetpack, they require you to share your JetBlue login info (username and password) and 2FA with JetBack in order for them to get you your credit. I’m assuming this has more to do with the JetBlue process than Jetpack. But regardless, I don’t feel comfortable sharing my 2FA with this app so it basically doesn’t work for JetBlue. I’ve also noticed that it doesn’t work as well for multi city itineraries or flights booked with points. That said, I kept my google flight tracking and this app never missed a dip in price and even got some that didn’t show up on google flights.

Suggestions: I wish the interface has a bit more info. It will just tell you which flights it’s tracking and money recovered. I wish I could click on each flight and see how the price has changed over time like I can on google flights.

Summary: this app was worth it for me. I got $193 back in credit over the past 6 months. I’m pretty good at tracking flight prices and buying them when they’re already low, so if you’re not doing that you’ll probably get back more. For me it’s worth the reduced effort so long as I’m net positive.

Didn’t work for me.

I thought it was odd that I have so many flights that this app is tracking, yet I haven’t not gotten one notification of a reduced rate. I decided to check the prices myself and found that at least one of my flights had been reduced by nearly $300. Why would the app not catch this if that is the promise? If I wouldn’t have checked myself, I would have been out the money. I currently have little confidence in this app now because of this.

$$$$$$

Save your money. They charge an arm and a leg and offer Pennies back. Not worth it.

My favorite app

I'm someone who checks flight prices constantly and this has saved me so much time and stress. Already got $320 back and I didn't have to do anything

Why isn't everyone using this

3 flights tracked, 2 price drops, $215 total back; CRAZY!

Buggy

When it works it is very good. Problem is that it stops monitoring flights for no reason.

Finally

Someone told me about this at work and I'm mad I didn't find it earlier!!! Already got 2 credits back this month, $60 and $45. Takes like 30 seconds to add a flight.

Actually works??

Was super skeptical but figured why not. Got $142 back on the first trip I added. Really wish I knew about this sooner.

So worth it

Got $85 back on a flight like 2 weeks after signing up. Didnt have to do anything, just got an email saying my credit was ready; Cant believe I used to just accept whatever price I paid lol. No brainer if you fly at all.

Deceptive Marketing

I was really excited to try this and went through the extensive setup experience (including sharing my actual email access) only to discover that I need to pay $100 up front before I even know that it could be helpful in any way.

Not great. Would not recommend making my mistake.

Best random download

Saw JetBack mentioned in cọmments somewhere and downloaded it out of boredom. Forgot about it until I got an email about credits on my flight. Already got three refunds.
