I have tried SO many music player apps, and none of them hold a candle to Jewelcase.

Great app
I love it, I sent a tip. The only thing is it doesn’t seem to recognize my sort tags (album, artist, or album artist). I have artist sort tags enabled but they don’t show in the track info and don’t sort properly.

Замечательное приложение, особенно для Россиян. Очень долго искал бесплатный хороший плеер, тк сейчас оплачивать подписки либо невозможно, либо выходит слишком дорого (с учетом комиссиий и тд). А это настоящая находка, тут и интерфейс красивый, и катомизация присутствует, и все нужные форматы поддерживает. Огромнейшее спасибо разработчику❤️❤️

Is this really how the app is designed? To add songs to a playlist, I have to manually search for each song title every single time just to get it to appear. Why isn’t there an option to add songs in bulk when creating a playlist?
And even after the playlist is created, when I go to the ‘add songs’ section, why is it completely empty until I start typing? There’s no way to browse my library or see suggestions I’m forced to search from scratch every time.

It has no problems or bugs at all and it’s the best in its category. I love it.
One of the best music players out there!
It’s a really good looking music player that has replaygain function and listening history. The only thing that’s stopping this player is an issue with song files being deleted unprompted. The songs don’t even show up in recently deleted in the files app. If it weren’t for me adding them to a playlist immediately, I probably would have lost more songs without knowing. Please fix this immediately!!

I’m happy
So far it’s good, I like the UI and the app seems smooth, also no annoying paywall and ads, but there’s no option to fetch lyrics from external source if the track already has lyrics in its metadata. The problem is, these lyrics are not time-synced and if there was an option to fetch external lyrics for these tracks I could use time-synced lyrics.

Hello,
I really enjoy using Jewelcase. The design and overall experience are great. I wanted to share a few issues and suggestions that could help improve the app.
- When a track is on repeat and I search for another song and play it, the app still plays the track that was on repeat. This only happens when playing from search.
- When I change the album cover art, the track that previously used the old artwork keeps the old cover, while the rest of the tracks update correctly.
- When I assign cover art to a single track that originally has no artwork, the cover disappears after reopening the app a few times. This happens more often when tracks are in the same folder. It would be much better if the selected artwork was embedded into the file metadata.
- Some tracks are not recognized even though their format is supported.
- When searching for an artist and opening their page, albums that are tagged as “Various Artists” do not appear, even if they belong to that artist.
- Exiting the track screen feels a bit difficult. Touch response does not seem very smooth.
Suggestion:
- It would be very useful if the app could download LRC lyrics automatically from the web.

Exactly what I needed
Supports .opus, has CarPlay, virtually zero locked behind a paywall, no ads whatsoever, automatically sorts my albums. Fantastic app.

Greatest music player I’ve used
Genuinely am enjoying using this app so much. I’ve only been using it for a little while but I have virtually no complaints. It has such a clean ui andI especially love how easy it is to look at and change tags, artists, covers etc.
