I have made a serious complaint with g5 games, backed with screenshot evidence that they cheated me out of a major reward that takes months to obtain, and they are ignoring my complaints. Actually, let me rephrase that: any and all live humans have ignored me. I have an email response that was generated by AI. And this is not the first occurrence. I guess what I want to impart is…just don’t go there..

Jewels of Egypt.
Since the latest update the game level is extremely difficult without gems and tools. The tools are very expensive and although you are given more gems you need 80 gems instead of 5 to continue to complete a level. It’s become a frustrating game to play unlike Jewels of Rome.

Smaller size of the gifts after completing a level in the main event.
Please ask the developer to make them a bit bigger. I really enjoy the game, but having to constantly search for them because they have gotten smaller takes up to much time, especially when you are trying to use as much of the free time as possible to play.

Hate the persistent persuasion of the in app purchases
The game is great and all, but I absolutely HATE, HATE it when the game is trying so desperately hard to make me buy in app purchases! It’s absolutely aggravating! I DON’T WANT TO BUY ANY IN APP PURCHASES WHEN I HAVE JUST BEGUN PLAYING THE GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME!
Please do me a favor and tone down the pushing of the in app purchases advertising A LOT lower because I am not going to spend money on something that’s just going to last 10-11 days!

Recent changes have been detrimental
I’ve played this game for several years and enjoyed it. However, it has recently undergone major changes that have made me less likely to play the game. It seems like the impetus is for you to watch ads or purchase in order to get further. It is also harder to see what you’ve won when you pass a level and even low level elements are almost impossible to pass. Even the monsters seem to have become more difficult and one of the good things about the game was you could play them for a bit of relief when you were stuck on other levels. I’m less likely to continue playing this game.

Love this game
Please do not update this game like you did Rome. I can’t play Rome anymore and all I have that’s calming and pretty to look at is Egypt now. Please reconsider making a game with such babyish colors and shapes. Babies can’t buy plays.

This new Jewels of Egypt is awesome. The graphics are superb. Still not a story follower, but please don’t take away the new creatures/beings/enemies. Big kudos to the graphics guys. Love it.

I don’t like the game updates
Since the last few updates G5 has taken away access to the characters’ names and the stories are gone or so shortened that they make no sense in collecting the items. The characters and stories was what separated Jewels of Egypt from playing something simple like Candy Crush! I am very disappointed

Egyptasian?
Last I checked this was an Egyptian themed game right? So what’s with the Asian music in between gameplay?? Sounds like a Konghou which is a traditional Chinese instrument. That’s cool and all but to me it throws the game off. Just my 5 cents.

Game has become unplayable
If I could give this game a negative rating, I would. I’m at 137 and have been a regular paying customer but that has come to an end. When the pass went from $11.99 for 4 weeks to $6.99 for 2 weeks, I wasn’t thrilled but gave it a try. It was still a decent deal for the money and since it was part of my entertainment budget I kept with it. Most of their shop items are terribly overpriced for a digital game. But I guess if you have $249 to spend on an in-game purchase, you do you.
For this two week pass, every non-event location and level has required at least 5 tries, even with boosters. For the event location, this is the first that I won’t complete or come close to completing. Usually since it is difficult to come by energy, the levels are reason able. This time, it’s two to three tries per level.
G5 got greedy with Sherlock and lost quite a few players. Looks like the greed has spilled over to this game. Time to find a different match 3 game until that one gets a case of the greedies.

Diamonds
I really miss not being able to watch videos to receive diamonds. Without them, it takes so much longer to complete a set or almost impossible in some cases. The games just keep getting harder and not as much fun.

Rusted jewels
Why in the world would you take away the bulk purchase of tools???? I hope it was an accident and it will be restored! Weeks and weeks later it is still really disappointing that coins are basically useless. In addition, the ads for jewels has disappeared from Egypt and Rome. Getting sick and tired of this game
