Fun Game, but…
I have played this game for many years and have always enjoyed it, until now. The ads! I hate when they come up and interrupt my enjoyment.
I hate the Naval Arena
I cannot win the special game without Auras special blessing with the three helpers and I cannot win any 3 games in a row to achieve the blessing. It’s gotten too hard and frustrating. I feel stupid and I’m tired of being shamed by the game for losing. so I’m done with this game. It was fun when I could win! Good luck!

Thank you for restoring the game. Making everything the same took the fun out of it. I was about to stop playing, but decided to wait for one more update. It is back to being the game that I love.

Oh Dear… *Was* a brilliant game…
I have played this game for years, spent a lot of money on ‘extras’ because I enjoyed it so much and, apart from a few niggles with delayed updates for Apple users, it’s been an excellent game playing experience. Until the last update…. A game known for its stunning graphics, beautiful characters, scenery and narrative has been utterly ruined. G5 have changed the beautifully crafted game pieces into horrible, blocky, cheap looking blobs that look as if they belong in a kiddie game. They’ve made the game ugly, difficult to navigate, made completion of the levels harder and less rewarding. To add insult to injury they’ve also removed the daily bonus. It’s made the game borderline unplayable. Every other player I’ve cone across agrees. A beautiful game ruined. No more purchases from me.
Update: All credit to G5, following what I suspect were numerous complaints from regular players, they issued an update and removed the hideous graphics. They are now back to the original game pieces and the game looks exactly as it did before. A developer that pays attention to the players and actually responds is rare and appreciated. Well done G5!

New graphics fall short
I wish you hadn’t changed the game graphics. Everything else in the game is beautiful and then you change to these chunky prime color graphics. Feels meh. I’m still playing though.

It's hard, but fair, with plenty of power-ups to help you through the more difficult levels. It looks lovely, and it has a fun story. My favourite mobile game.

Poor graphics
The new changes are blah. The images in the games are blocky looking and have no definition. The colouring is poor and makes it difficult to see what still has to be matched. Have played this from the beginning but won’t anymore. Ruined a good game

I can’t thank you enough for changing the match-3 items back to the original design. The new design in the last update was so wrong, it didn’t fit the style of the game and was garish and hard to look at. I played less and was ready to quit.

Disappointing Updates
I’ve loved playing this game daily for many years, developed the town, spent money, and over the last month or so my usage has plummeted. So many changes and nothing for the better. No more stories to tell me why I’m searching for things. Nothing specific to find in new buildings anymore. Coins are pretty much useless. I don’t like the “tasks” layout. Luckily the childish graphics were pulled back out. But really, unless the developers unwind all the changes done this year, my time on this app will have been for naught cuz I’ll be done with it. Stop trying to “fix” something that wasn’t broken to begin with. All that was needed were small tweaks to the monthly events since they just repeated the exact same over and over.

Terrible update
The changes in the shapes and colors makes it look like a game for babies. It’s unpleasant to look at, now, and the sounds are awful too. The game was pretty.
Jewels
Just as good as the other G5 games. It uses so much imagination as well as graded gameplay.

June 2026: New graphics on puzzles are AWFUL
The new simplified icons on the puzzles are AWFUL: they are impossible to recognise or identify. They are so bad I have stopped playing the game, which is a shame.

The Update In April Is Horrible
This new update has downgraded the game. I DO NOY like the shapes and cartoonish visuals. Please change it back. Now this game looks like the other simple Jewel games.
