Horrible and expensive
No responsibility or integrity with Customer service
Great!
Well worth the cost & much better than just having the AESOP app which is always later at notifying me of jobs than Jobulator!
Glitchy
Prepare to be ripped off
No Apple Watch App
Great Until It Isn’t
Awful
So save your money and don’t bother. I find that refreshing Aesop here and there gets me jobs. Jobulator sends you alerts after a job has already been taken or when it has been sitting there forever. Which means you can just check Aesop here and there and still get more jobs than paying Jobulator for nothing.
Response from developer
Obviously this is not what we ever want to hear, but we would love to try and change your mind! Can you contact us at jobulatorsupport@frontlineed.com so we can work with you to better understand what's happening and hopefully solve any problems?
Switching to another service
Not as good as other apps
Helps a little
Great but have a question 👇🏼 How to get out of accepted job?
Would be great if there is an option to relist a job for accidental double bookings.
Other than that, I love this app! The creators created a really great service for our school system 😊
It’s okay
There have only been a few times that I have clicked on a notification to see that a job as already been taken. But I am still getting more jobs than before because I am no longer tied to the computer.
Fast, handy & room for improvement
Another plus is that the calendar appears just like in AESOP/Frontline. When teachers ask if I’m busy or not I can reference that easily and let them know right away. Great feature!
In another app, you can see the list of jobs you have taken (where, when, whom), get directions(linked to google maps), email the teacher you are subbing for so I miss that here.
Also I WISH THERE WAS A SEARCH FEATURE or a FILTERING OPTION on this app. It would be great to search for the schools you like or for certain dates, etc. Also, if the search feature worked in your scheduled jobs that would be fantastic.
BEAT THE COMPETITION: The other app I have does not have a search feature either, so you could get ahead of them that way. I’m rooting for you!
Works pretty well
Very flawed. other apps are better for less
Time is money
Anyway, rather than being stuck to my computer, I get notifications anytime. It is true that jobs disappear fast, but that’s true with or without the app. The app just lets me know I missed it rather than being blissfully unaware. If it gives me even one day with a job or a better job, it has paid for itself. Time is money!
Lastly, I love the import to calendar feature. Not only does it include the the date and time, it also gives the teacher’s name and school address which I can easily tap to get directions.
Just ok
So many problems for substitutes
It can also be a nightmare when trying to accept jobs. I have gotten a message that a job is no longer available and have been able to accept the job because I refused to concede that it was no longer available and kept clicking. A common numbers of tries is around seven, but I wanted to find out just how many times I would have to click one Saturday morning when I knew I was the only math substitute who should be seeing the job. Exactly 600 clicks later, it allowed me to accept the job. Convenient? Not really.
Now it has stopped syncing with my Apple Watch. That was a nice feature because, when it worked, I would get a silent notification. If I have my iPhone on silent mode now, the notification is just like all of the other notifications I get; so it is easy to miss them. I now keep my phone in normal mode, which means it might ring while I am in school.
The app has helped me get jobs I probably wouldn’t have gotten, so I will put up with the major inconveniences.
