Läuft gut, auch auf PC/MAC

Läuft gut und lässt sich einfach bedienen. Bei Fotos kann man leider keine Titel vergeben und es gibt wenig Zugriff auf EXIF/ICMP-Daten (nur Grundinfo). Die Synchrinisation über mehrere Geräte läuft problemlos.

Not bad but…

Live Photos filtering isn’t working for me for some reason. I’m on iOS 26.6, I can clearly see that there are Live Photos backed up in the all media and photos tabs but when I go to the Live Photos tab to filter them, nothing shows except a message that says “There are no items matching your filter.” Still testing it out but so far that’s the one issue I’ve noticed. Seems nice otherwise though.

You have absolutely no ability to control how much access to your photos and files this app has; none. Everything on the company’s website is a downright lie

This isn’t accurate. You can control exactly how much photo access the app has through your device’s permission settings. If you grant partial or no photo access, some features will be disabled. We do this intentionally to avoid confusion. Otherwise users might assume all their photos are being backed up when we don’t actually have access to them. We’d be glad to help if you can describe the specific use case that isn’t working for you. Please reach out to our support team with more details.

iCloud users read:

If you’re switching to Jottacloud as an alternative to iCloud photos, beware that although Jottacloud will store live photos as live photos in the cloud, they are not shareable or downloadable as anything other than a still image outside the cloud. So if you want to send a photo to someone and let them see the live photo, it’s not possible. It would be good to know that there may be a future way to share live photos as they are, otherwise I’ll have to switch back to iCloud. Could developers answer whether this is being worked on?

Thank you for your feedback, but if you want to share Live Photos you can do it by sharing them as a link or put them in a shared album. The Live Photos can also be downloaded again by selecting the download option (and not share option). The Live Photos are only downloadable as Live Photos on iOS devices. We are currently looking into how we can improve sharing, so we appreciate the feedback and I hope we manage to keep you as a customer. Thank you!
