Look up local police, ambulance and fire numbers and embassy details for 50 destinations, including France, Japan, Mexico, Thailand, the UK, Germany, Italy and Australia. Many also have phrases you can show.
Bundled numbers and phrases work offline, and you don't need an account. Tap a number to open your phone's own call prompt.
PLAN BEFORE YOU GO
Browse local information before a trip or while you travel. JourneyMate is for looking things up. It doesn't assess your situation or give personal advice.
SEE WHERE NUMBERS COME FROM
Each bundled number shows its source and freshness notes. Tapping Call opens the iOS call prompt, so nothing is dialled until you confirm there.
FIND PLACES AND EMBASSIES
Find nearby hospitals, pharmacies, police stations, dentists and vets, then open the place or directions in Apple Maps. See embassy details for your nationality and destination, with links to official sources.
SHOW A PHRASE
Pick a phrase to show its translation in large text, and play it aloud with your iPhone's voices. Coverage depends on the language and the voices you've installed.
CHOOSE HOW IT WORKS
Pick a country yourself, or allow location while you use the app. Choose your home nationality and travel type. You don't need an account. Usage events go to PostHog, and the app can send crash reports. The privacy policy has the details.
Maps, nearby search, live weather alerts, government advisories and external links need an internet connection and may be unavailable. Alerts show in the app only. JourneyMate doesn't monitor conditions or send notifications.
CHECK THE SOURCE
Information can be incomplete, wrong or out of date, and coverage varies by destination. Check the official source before you act on it.
JourneyMate provides information only. It isn't an emergency service, a government agency or a provider of medical advice. It doesn't dispatch services or guarantee a response. In an emergency, contact local authorities directly using a verified number.
