Great but requests
This app is so close to perfect for what I need. It is significantly easier to use than my previous photo book app that I used to chronicle my kids and print books for them each year as keepsakes. But these are my wishes:
Allow a post to be added to multiple journals at once. Right now it’s a single select for journal but it would make my process so much easier if it was a multi select. I make a journal book for each kid and at least 50+% of entries are shared between kids. Eventually I’d like to make a general travel book, more aligned to this apps original goal and being able to add to all albums at once would be great.
As an avid traveler of the United States, I wish we had state stamps AND country stamps. It would make this page more interesting for those that don’t do as much international travel. When you live in NC and travel to Hawaii or Alaska, it’s a big deal! National Parks would also be an amazing addition.
Text only entries. I want to save kid quotes or text focused pages but right now will need to find placeholder images for those funny moments.
I can’t wait to see what my first printed books look like! Overall this is a nicely polished app and very fast performance.

Visibilité et classement
Les vidéos sont souvent inaccessibles.
Et le classement des photos se fait par téléchargement et non pas par date ou.
Donc si on veut les rassembler, il faut absolument toutes les envoyer en même temps.
Il serait plus intuitif de pouvoir les rassembler automatiquement par tranches de 2/5/10 ou 15 minutes par exemple

Notre blog est en fait conçu pour fonctionner comme un journal intime en temps réel, t'encourageant à publier tes vidéos et tes photos le jour même où elles ont été prises afin que ton histoire reste parfaitement chronologique. Cela dit, on adore ton idée d'un regroupement par plages horaires plus intuitif pour les publications groupées — j'ai immédiatement transmis ça à notre équipe produit ! Manque des fonctionnalités
L’application est sympa mais vraiment simpliste. C’est dommage qu’on ne puisse pas ajouter des localisations sans photo, ou encore qu’on ne puisse pas ajouter des légendes individuelles sur chaque photo…

Great app
I share my trip diary and photos with family and friends. They love it. Then once home I do a photo book. I love that it includes my diary. I have 8 now. From all over the world.
Maybe you could update your release notes
The notes have been the exact same for at least a year. It would be nice to known what’s actually been updated, corrected or otherwise changed.
User friendly
I find your app difficult to navigate. However the desktop version is very very good.

Support Lacking
I’ve enjoyed using this app for journaling our travels for several years - even upgrade to the Premium version. Having a problem backing up my most recent journal to Dropbox. Support is very slow to respond. Looking for another option for future trips. Disappointing Journi’s support isn’t more responsive.

First time user
I was looking for something that I could ‘record’ a family trip to the USA on and share this with some family and friends only rather than a Facebook style thing. This app is excellent! I loved it. I was able to do a daily update using photos and text about our day. Your f&f will need the app but this is easy to do. You have 1000 characters per entry and a lot of photos. Some times videos longer than 30 seconds struggled to be uploaded but they may have sorted this. Uploading screenshots can also be an issue.
The map feature is excellent and lets you see your travels as is the ability to ensure each post is logged with a destination. This felt like a really personal ‘blog’ and I only wish I had more trips which I could blog about on here. Highly recommended.

Feels Old-School - An Ideal Journal App!
Am loving following my friends family holiday. Unlike some other social media there is not an ongoing conversation. You look forward to their posts and then have an opportunity to like or comment.

Journi is NOT user friendly
I tried the Journi app on my phone and don’t find it intuitive at all! It’s WAY too tiny to maneuver on your phone and the app is not fully functional on my computer. I ended up designing my book on my iPad. When I went to order I almost lost a whole days worth of work as it didn’t save that last draft! I will stick w Mixbooks site for creating photobooks!

Inutilisable sauf si vous réglez ça ! Elle deviendra mon application préférée:
1- Il manque une fonctionnalité très importante !! Lorsqu’on est sur la vue « carte » il est impossible de voir notre position actuelle par rapport au moments enregistrés. Pourtant lorsqu’on choisis un lieu il est possible de voir notre position actuelle en rond bleu. Pouvez vous inclure cette fonctionnalité dans la vue « carte » car cela fait toute la différence et rends l’application inutilisable dans le cas d’un parcours d’un guide par exemple !!! On ne sait pas où on se situe !!
2- Aussi s’il vous plaît une vue carte directement sans passer par la vue timeline ?? Une option pour choisir ou sauvegarder le dernier choix …Cette application a du potentiel pour les guides ou les photographes ! La possibilité de mettre des photos la rend bien meilleur que maps ou n’importe quel concurrent
Ces deux correctifs améliorerait grandement l’application
3- facultatif: la possibilité de rendre invisible plusieurs repère d’un coup par catégorie (imaginons que je veuille faire visiter que les endroits type vue panoramique ou faire uniquement des photos de familles) pouvoir cacher par catégorie changerai tout.
4- facultatif : sur un même repère je souhaite pouvoir créer plusieurs « album ». « Famille,amie,couple…. » ceci n’est pas possible car je suis obligé de mettre un repère à côté sauf que le principe du repère c’est la position exact ….
En tant que photographe cette application a un potentiel de malade puisqu’on pourrait enregistrer des photos à un lieu donné et avoir un « modèle » (n’hésitez pas à me contacter avec mon pseudo pour en discuter)

Fantastic for recording your travel memories
I love this app for travel journaling. It’s easy to use. I run into the letter limits sometimes but that’s not necessarily a bad thing plus you can always create a second post. My only complaint about this app is that you can’t include links in the post. It would be nice if I could include links to websites or articles about the places I’ve visited, or even to music I heard on the trip.

Search Function
I like the layout and design of this app, however, to my surprise, the search function (by key words) doesn't work although there is a search box. Any idea how to fix it?
Waste of time
I spent a day adding pictures and customized an album, thinking it will be a great Christmas present but unfortunately after the creation of the album all other edits were not saved.
App freezes all the time
Even though I have good bandwidth this app freezes constantly, and doesn’t allow you to scroll through the pictures without waiting an extended period of time. It’s very ridiculous . if we didn’t have so many trips logged with this app, I would move to another.
Super app pour le voyage et le quotidien !
J’adore cette appli que j’ai découverte à l’occasion d’un voyage au bout du monde, et qui m’a permis de partager mon aventure avec mes proches sans passer par les réseaux sociaux ! Au retour, quelle joie aussi de pouvoir imprimer directement son album souvenir !
J’utilise Journi maintenant pour tous mes voyages et aussi pour mon journal quotidien. J’ai mis 4 étoiles parce qu’il me manque une fonction de calendrier, qui permettrait de retrouver ses posts par date plus rapidement.
Sinon, je la conseille fortement, simple, intuitive et très agréable à utiliser !

Worst app ever
What a joke. Am a parent whose child is away with the school overseas and that have used this app to share photos etc. but no one can do anything except open an account. Use anything but this app
Love this but…
I gave it 4 stars because I just wish you could put videos like half of my trips are videos. But other wise I love the app and I love how it is private to so random people don’t just find your profile.
Great way to keep family updated AND journal
Currently on a 2 month road trip and wanted a way to keep family updated when traveling from place to place without letting all of social media know our exact whereabouts. This app has been fantastic!! I love keeping track of what we have done and it passes the mom and grandma’s “check in everyday” 😆
ONLY THING MISSING is being able to post a video. There is so much more when sharing a video. I’ve looked at other ‘journal’ apps that offered videos but I just liked this layout the best. HOPING for videos soon!!!!🤞🏻

Overall I like the app
Here are a couple things that could be improved:
1. offer an option to show the travel route on the map connecting the stations by order of date.
2. allow to upload small videos even though they will not print in the book.
3. it seems difficult for some people to link the journal after they have been invited
