Very expensive broken app
First let me say, this concept is great. A nice place for users to focus on gratitude and being mindful and vision driven. It’s also a place for people looking to find a life coach.
This is where the sketchy part comes into play. Coaches are required to pay to be featured in the Coach Marketplace. The deciding factor of me agreeing to invest in this service came after a detailed infographic demonstrating the average referral rate to coaches monthly. The numbers given are 3-5 per month, with stat percentages to “prove up” those numbers.
For the very first day of using the app, it has not worked. I even had to get Nicole (a very helpful customer service person) to manually create my bio because the app was “glitchy” that day. She had to do the same multiple times with other areas of the app on various other days.
Each time she was helpful and offered that the “engineers are working on it”, but each time the app proved to be rudimentary at best. Things like engagement weren’t functional. Meaning if a potential client liked my post, there was no way for me to see who that potential client was. Only that “someone” did. Defeats the whole purpose of me paying.
After I brought this and many other issues to her desk, the app was “fixed.” Of course now I might can see who liked a post, yet when clicking their info, the app would loop me back to my own bio. Or it would assign incorrect info to another person.
Example: I started noticing everyone had the exact same credentials as me. Confidence Coach for Women in Wellness. Come to find out, the app was “glitching” again and assigning all users my info.
After two months of constant back-and-forth with Nicole over various troubles (of which she acknowledged all of them), and after ZERO referrals, I asked to have a prorated refund due to the app not functioning.
And was promptly declined with, sorry, but you paid for the full year. That’s a contract.
I said, even though the app isn’t working? She said, even OpenAI has troubles. Our engineers are working on an update, but only for Android users at the moment.
Buyers (coaches) beware. Sounds too good to be true? Might be.
All other users, if it’s free and a good and safe place for you to express your gratitude and vision for your future, go for it.
