Cannot get it to connect to Bluetooth
I can’t seem to get it to connect to Bluetooth in order to use this app. Maybe everybody else will have better luck.
Very confusing app
Some functions don’t work at all. Concept is good but execution is terrible.
Works great!
My HK-W01 thermometer works great with some distance limits. Folks don’t realize that wireless signals won’t go through metal so make sure to keep the receiver in line of sight to the probe through the oven window. I set my receiver on the counter in front of the oven about 8’ away and it works perfectly. I can go anywhere in my house with my phone without disconnecting from the receiver. It’s nice to check the temp from the couch! I’d definitely buy it again.

Terrible
The app is really bad, and the actual thermometer that this app is for is even worse. This works for 2 minutes before going haywire and not working. Waste of money. Apple should not allow companies like this on the App Store
Device never worked!
Don’t waste your money. I used it once and it stopped working. The second time it wouldn’t turn on.
It’s headed for the dump.
I tried it five times. Only once was it faultless. Today? Chicken breasts came out of the fridge at 43°F. I put them on the grill. They dropped to 32°F. In time they made it to 102°F after the probe disconnected three times. So I brought out the old digital thermometer and finished the job with the trusty old one. Bye-bye orange thing.

For the price
It’s not that bad .. I think the reviews are full of people who don’t know much more than making a bowl of cereal… it’s really not as bad as the reviews say and for the price it worked well for me, so far I’ve used it to smoke some ribeyes once. I only gave it 4 stars for the app layout, bc it’s clearly very foreign but usable..

Faulty item.
Pros:
- the thermometer is simple to use
- easy to understand directions
-the concept of the app is good
- comes with wire to charge thermometer and probes that are inserted
-Bluetooth capable
Cons:
- most negative reviews are true
- Chinese developed app
- probe constantly disconnects ( sometimes both, sometimes one at a time)
- the temperature is off by a few degrees in accordance with my Therm-Pro thermometers
- The cons outweigh the pros and messing up your expensive meat because this manufacturer produces faulty items is not worth it. 0 stars until they can fix it, and provide one that works.

Will not read other than 32f
Worked once now will not read anything other than 32F. Call it a waste of money

This is absolutely trash! It paired with my phone for a day then won’t pair at all. Of course it stops working when I have a large brisket in the oven… DO NOT BUY THIS THERMOMETER. ITS ABSOLUTELY JUNK AND YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Just got the meat probe today, like literally 20 minutes ago. Everything like this always gets really negative reviews but you can see there's also not very many. For what I paid compared to the other probes like this, it's worth trying. Came right on and seems easy enough to use. Firing the smoker up in about an hour, charging it a little bit because it was supposed to be here yesterday but got delayed in traffic 😑 I want to make sure it has enough battery to last the entire smoke. Give it a week or two then I will update my review.
SCRATCH all of that ⬆️⬆️ Literally cannot walk farther than 5 feet away without getting a "probe disconnected" notification every two minutes. Basically, you're getting a fancy looking timer because the probe is useless, unless you're sitting right in front of the smoker. You get what you pay for and if it seems like it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Good enough
App works fine enough, as long as you keep the host within 5 feet of the probe like the instructions say. Can leave the host outside and still get a good signal in my second floor apartment.
Would be amazing for this app to have a widget to put on the home screen or lock screen for quickly checking temps!
