Weber bought this company and ever since there have been no updates. If this is how Weber handles their Apps, then I will steer clear of their products.

Seems abandoned
For the price of this oven, I expected their app to get updates. It’s been a year since the last update, no Alexa integration, and the app constantly loses connection to the oven. If you’re looking for a smart oven, this isn’t it.
Great App, Love it, however
When at, the end of cooking, and it asks if I would like to take a photo, it accesses the camera on the app, rather than the camera in the oven. Please fix.
Connects to iPhone 15 iOS 17.1.1
When I first tried to connect to a second GEN oven, the newer devices with the latest iOS would not connect. My guess was that the app wasn’t updated and so it didn’t know about the find devices on network permission setting.
So I tried an old iPhone 5s, and it connected the first try.
After several months of owning the second GEN oven, I tried connecting on my primary iPhone and it somehow worked. Hope this helps someone
