Wonderful app for national parks
This was really helpful and wonderful guide for really huge national parks with no network coverage .. really enjoyed all the places and info / history about them.. highly recommend
Great guided tour of Big Bend!
We used this app for our most recent trip to Big Bend National park and it was great! We called our tour guide Bob and the information was fantastic all along our journey through Bid Bend and the surrounding area. We learned quite a bit of interesting information about the park and its history. I would definitely recommend this app for travelers through Big Bend.

Very helpful!
We used this for Big Bend, Death Valley, and Joshua Tree National Parks and found it very useful and informative! We haven’t figured out how to get the information to play when we are not in the locations mentioned. Nevertheless, this gets 5 stars for helping us navigate the national parks and understand what we’re seeing while being in them. If you plan on visiting any of these locations, download this app! Pay for the year subscription and you will get your money’s worth. We’re looking forward to them doing more locations. Cheers!

We love Just Ahead! It is very helpful when driving through parks. It provides a lot of information that we wouldn’t know without it.

Does Not Work Properly, Minimal Information Included
I purchased the year package with all their parks included and I am very disappointed in it. The app claims to allow you to listen to the informative scripts without physically being there, but this function is not working and I have to physically cross over the location on the map to get it to play. The park I did listen to had little discussion or information included and did not feel worth the value charged. I wish there was a way to get a refund.

Unfortunately we just discovered this excellent app when we got to Big Bend after visiting other national parks on our trip. We will definitely use it more in the future! Easy to use and the fact that it works without a cell signal and knows where you are and what you have already listened are great!

Fantastic app
Love this app, we used it in Big Bend and were very happy with the great information. Only downside is the navigation, I had to keep pressing the little arrow on the map to update our location, this didn’t affect the information given, just our view of our location.

The best National Park audio guide
My whole family loves this app so much. The audio quality is great, and the script is not only educational but also informative. We’ve loved each guide that we’ve used as we’ve traveled to different national parks, and hope one day the team will start making more! Highly recommend
Abandoned
App is very flakey on iOS 17, and reads out about half of the waypoints. Also, it randomly crashes while in use. For a free destination like big bend it is alright but I would not spend anything on any of the other parks.
