Needs a whole new interface or the option to change and customise the interface. It’s very dull and reminiscent of apps from 2010. Very lazy app

I love that you can do it all from your phone it’s Amazing the only thing that is annoying is that it’s quite hard to setup but other than that it’s great 👍

Buggy with countless grammar mistakes
A really poor implementation that is buggy with countless spelling and grammar mistakes. I don’t know how this company managed to sell these lights to Bunnings in Australia but this a massive let down. “Please connect light firstly!”
Pay a UX student to overhaul.
The app has a very poor interface, bad IA and bad copy. I’ve got it to work ok by reading some forums. The major retailer (Bunnings) should review stocking the brand the app is so bad.
*Update* Months later, The app is still as bad. I don’t think they’re concerned. Every time I open it the state has been reset. For example: If the lights are on, when I open the app the ‘switch’ control is off and the ‘group’ is I unselected. Every time I need to select the group then turn them on and off again in the app. Just inexcusable sloppiness.
*Update 2* App has been updated apparently fixing the issues. Nope. Still the worst. It needs a ground up rewrite.

Avoid this app
The app is difficult to believe it could of been made worse. But what is worse is the hardware that it controls. It has broken and needed replacement multiple times.

App outdated and no longer functions
Now that iTunes no longer exists and only Apple Music does, the music function of my lights no longer works. I spent $100 on lights last year so this is highly disappointing. The app needs to be updated ASAP. This is basically defunct.

The lights will only work with music you have purchased and download on iTunes and will not work for Apple Music
Works, but could be vastly better.
Would be good if you could customise the settings, eg change speed, remove flashes etc.
Overall all the settings are not my cup of tea besides the always on function which beats the purpose of most the app.

It works, but man...
The app does the job. I’m running it on my XR/iOS 13 no issue: but it’s clearly an app that’s not loved.
Functionality is fine, only issue I have is that it doesn’t remember the lights after a period of time. It can see them in the light list section, but I have to reselect them quite often.
If you’re looking for a pretty app, this isn’t it-however, because I’ve got no issue with functionality, I’m not going to complain. Devs just need to improve the look, and the app layout.

Working well over 6 months
I was scared by the numerous negative reviews but after using the app for over 6 months it seems to work fine and has always synced for me.

great app. although would be great if you could use spotify, etc. for the bluetooth not just apple music...
Do not use this app—thanks to it we have no lights on Christmas Eve
Lights were working fine till I foolishly connected them to the app. Now they have turned off and they won’t come back on full stop no matter what I try. Use the light but for goodness sakes, don’t use the app. It’ll fry your lights.

Does not find lights. Just keeps scanning. Not good!
Doesn’t connect to Bluetooth
Like other reviews, these lights do not connect to iPhone Bluetooth; keeps saying it’s scanning and then never finds the lights! Mid-sold!!

Security is a concern
Managed to connect iPhone to the lights and change the functions, so reasonably happy in that regard, but I do have concerns that there is no apparent way to change the security settings (ie you cannot change the default password), making this a vulnerability in our home network.
