Doesn’t work with new watch OS paid for it and I’m not even allowed to download it again

I'm sorry you are having trouble with the app. This is a free app. Be sure you are trying to install the app using the app store on your watch - it will not work if you are using the app store on your phone. If you need further help please contact support@jwerfel.com

The app worked fine until I needed to resync my watch/iphone. After the sync, the app was no longer. The app store had purchase grayed out and prevented me from downloading the app. So, apparently I still have the app, but it is no longer accessible on the iphone. Why can’t I simply re-download the app? You are making this unnecessarily frustrating.
