翻译问题
负担不起翻译成本的话有没有考虑过让用户自行接入翻译 API？

Firstly, no login , no ads yet still quality. An ai summary is not sth I would trust because of ai hallucination, what is the purpose of the owners, how does it work removes any trust and value.
All this is known here, how the project works and gets its sources is known and the community checks and reports any hallucinations which are fixed . It’s constantly refining based on feedback and u can get involved.
The filtering is essential. It helps my FOMO on news without going to sites that are rabbit holes. But it uses ai.

更新后其他国家和地区内容现在不能以中文显示了吗？
原来没更新之前内容都是我选择繁体中文，更新后怎么变成英文了？（除了中国和台湾外）,差评！

Seit ich die App nutze ( mehrere Monate) war sie immer auf deutsch. Nach einem Update ist sie plötzlich nur noch auf englisch verfügbar. Was soll das ?????????

Guter Überblick, doch leider keine Übersetzung mehr in deutsch
Gelungene Nachrichtensammlung. Gibt einmal täglich einen Überblick über wichtige Ereignisse. Dabei kann man Rubriken und Länder auswählen.
Bisher fand ich auch die Möglichkeit, Artikel in einer bestimmten Sprache zu lesen. Leider jedoch ist dies neuerdings nur noch in Englisch möglich.
Da nutze ich lieber Alternativen.

Automatische Übersetzung funktioniert nicht mehr ☹️
Kagi News nutze ich jetzt seit ein paar Monaten und bin echt angetan. Statt ständigem News-Geballer gibt es einmal täglich eine Presseschau mit Artikeln aus verschiedenen Quellen. Die Auswahl ist gut kuratiert, neutral und international aufgestellt. Besonders gefällt mir, dass keine Werbung eingeblendet wird und keinerlei Tracking erfolgt.
Die App wirkt dem ständigen Scroll-Zwang klassischer Newsfeeds entgegen und hilft, das eigene Medienverhalten bewusster zu gestalten. Kein Dauerfeuer, keine Push-Hektik – dafür mehr Überblick und Ruhe. Ich merke, dass sich das auch positiv auf meine Stimmung und Konzentration auswirkt.
Die Möglichkeit, Themenbereiche individuell zu priorisieren, finde ich super praktisch. Auch regional.
Ein Stern Abzug, weil die Headline der Tagesausgabe manchmal etwas „clicky“ wirkt und sich das leider nicht anpassen lässt. Noch nerviger, außerdem werden Beiträge leider nicht mehr automatisch in der Übersicht und im Artikel selbst auf Deutsch übersetzt.

Hey, just go to the settings (icon in the top right) and add or remove any categories you don't want to see, like sports :)

Excellent app that aggregates news while providing the sources!
Great news reading design that won’t draw much unnecessary attention
Love that it only updates once per day, and the framework providing perspectives not just stories or entertainments with sources for further resources.
My wish list:
- To be able to sync account settings on app where it is possible now on web (e.g. news categories).
- Select texts like what other apps do so that I can translate with Kagi or other apps.
- Allow individual language settings per category.

Nicht schlecht,
aber belegt viel zu viel Speicher auf dem iPhone. Knapp zwei Gigabyte sind es bei mir.
Exactly what I was looking for
...but it's not perfect... I hope Kagi can make this idea work out! It would be fantastic to have AI aggregate news content in real time, from the global pool of multiple language sources, deduplicate and prioritise according to actual news values, linking through to the best quality source material in a transparent way, without distortion... so far it kinda works, but the pool of source material seems limited, and the AI does a correspondingly poor job at ranking items... I think it could more efficiently spend less effort on trying to summarise -- because it is difficult not to distort the facts when you do that -- and put more effort into getting more items to rank.

Keine Übersetzung und nichts aktuell, da leider immer ein Tag hinten dran
Schade, dabei gefällt mir Kagi sehr gut.
Wünsche es gebe einen Übersetzung Button, wenn schon die eingestellte Ländersprache nichts bringt und wie wäre es noch mit einem Voice Ausgabe Button.
Auch fehlt mir eine aktuelle Tages Zusammenfassung als Daily News App.

一見かなり良さげだとは思うけれども、AIによる要約全般に難がある点を一旦置いておくとしても、悪名高いプロパガンダのニュースサイトや情報の質の振れ幅が非常に大きい掲示板などがソースに含まれていて注意が必要。いい感じにフォーマットされて視覚的に信憑性が増しているのが不安になる。使用する方はどうか気をつけて。
Excellent app with a fatal flaw
For the first day or so, Kagi News worked brilliantly and I was blown away because this approach to news is a dream come true. However, certain Categories (for me it’s privacy, cybersecurity, and good news) just disappear from my feed rather than remain with the little note that says there’s no news on the topic(s) for that day. Further, they’ll intermittently reappear on the categories list depending on the day, which means I end up re-adding them to my preferred categories and rearranging them. That is, before they disappear another day depending on (what I assume is) a lack of news traffic. I LOVE Kagi’s philosophy on news, so hopefully they can fix this sooner or later!

App window size for Mac and light mode
The app window size should be changed for Mac laptops by making it more horizontal and wide than tall and vertical. The app should have an option to change between light and dark mode.
Reclaim your time
I have deleted all my other news apps. Kagi gives me the perfect nugget of daily context in a short 2-minute session.
