Bait and switch
I downloaded this many months ago because others were enthusing about what a great app it is. I went to use it to translate something from Greek in to English, something the app claims it do, it would allow me to enter the information but then when pressing send nothing happened. I then tried logging in through Apple, same results…for both Greek to English and English to Greek.
Then I see there is an update, so I update the app and try again.
I get a pop up stating the app no longer supports free members.
The whole app was free when I bought it, and was not a lite version, so this is bait and switch and I will be alerting Apple.

Will not let me login with Apple ID
Despite being a paid customer with access to translate in browser, the app recognizes the login via Apple ID, saying “welcome back” and then never dismisses the login page within the app.
App cannot be used anymore
Although I created an account, the app cannot be used and login to the account only works on the website but not with the app

Kagi is no longer available without signing up and giving up at least the semblance of anonymity. Deleted app.

I was shocked when saw this big misunderstanding, what do you mean “free users are offline right now but subscribers can use this app normally”. Haven’t developers just got a headache recently ? It was the best app in my lifetime. I’m so disappointed with you
Stopped working
Stopped translating anything after a few uses. Can’t even translate the word “hi.”

Everything is behind the paywall
I know this is a fantastic app, but I can’t believe this app suddenly begins blocking all the free users after the latest update.

Better than Google and Apple Translate. Hope to have iPad version and allow account settings sync on apps.

Elle a remplacé DeepL chez moi, et pourtant j’adorais cette app !
Elle est tout simplement parfaite : les traductions sont excellentes, l’app est réactive et peut être définie comme app de traduction par défaut dans les réglages.
Je dirais qu’il ne lui manque que le design Liquid Glass pour être vraiment bien intégrée.
