Eliminate “brute force” hint games
I very much enjoy the “very hard” Kakuro puzzles. Learn a lot about the logical ways to remove candidates. However, I am greatly disappointed when I get a “brute force” ( = guess ) hint with 20 squares yet to go. Either a guess is truly required or the logical hint is too difficult to explain in the app. Either way, I really don’t care to pay for these games that end like this. The claim is that properly structured games should not require guessing. Is there a way to save the game state so one can return to the point of the first brute force guess….after wandering in the forest of guesses?

Does not save anymore
Since the last upgrade, the app no longer saves my weekly puzzle in progress. This is the same on all Conceptis apps.

Two issues, but still best Cross Sums app I found
The game lets you rule out options, like saying I know “134” doesn’t work, but “125” does. Undo doesn’t track such changes, I wish it did. Also, its error reporting would be better if it tracked when the rules are broken, such as repeating a number, instead of highlighting a sum that disagrees with the solution, because my most common mistakes are due to typing errors, which are easily missed, not logic errors.
[Response to dev response] I reported the bug with undo about 3 years ago and was told it is too costly to fix. As to highlighting simple errors, I have “Show errors” on, and it absolutely would not be a spoiler to circle the two “1”s I mistakenly entered, and I hate that the option shows me any spoilers. I have responded with more details to the email provided.

Amazing App!
I love playing this game, and this app makes it so good! The UI is very easy, and not cluttered. You just focus on the game, not on ads and crazy distractions.
Have to get it their way
Sometimes you can have a combination that works, but won’t solve the puzzle because they have it coded for a different assortment

Only feature I like to add is being able to highlight and add pencil marks to multiple cells in one operation
Play these daily and love them
I love playing these puzzles and there are no pesky adverts interfering with the focus.
Different difficulty levels to choose from, whether you just want to spend a quick-fix few minutes or are in the mood for something more challenging.
I like that there is the option to check progress to see if you’ve made any mistakes.
The Show Hint option can be handy, though I’d prefer it, if it also worked without having to use the option to auto-fill all pencil marks.

Difficult but doable, lots of fun
Good but flawed
I am enjoying this new-to-me type of puzzle but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve “solved” a puzzle and satisfied all the sums just for the app to tell me I’m wrong, and then I have to guess which of the multiple valid solutions the app actually wants me to enter. Please fix it so that all valid solutions are accepted

Cross Sums forever!
I truly enjoy this app. The only improvement I would like to see would be a help feature where I could learn some more advanced solving techniques. This would be a huge undertaking. The skills included in the app are the standard ones, but where there are many options for learning advanced sudoko techniques, I find very limited options for advanced Kakuro techniques. I can solve the hard level with time but sometimes get stuck on the hard plus level. I need new techniques before I try the truly challenging puzzles.
Update! I love being able to use hints when I am truly stuck! Thank you. I would like a few tweaks. Once I’ve filled in lol the pencil marks on my own, if I turn on auto fill it adds possibilities I have already eliminated. Since I can’t use the hints unless it is on, I then have to remove lots of options I have a lady eliminated.
