great app
i use this app for studying my n5! it’d be great if you made an n4 as well!! 😆
Great app!
This is a great concept and visuals are great! I would love to see even a paid-only version of N4-N1. I wish there was a way to sort the kanji by stroke order in Kanji mode (not practice)
Okay but one issue
During the hiragana and katakana quiz, it’ll ask for an answer but there’ll be two answers that are correct. For example, I was given “Ri” and was given both hiragana and katakana version of “ri”. I chose the hiragana and it counted me wrong
It's got great potential
I would have given feedback directly before writing a review, but was not able to use the in-app feature to email the authors, and the link to their website (within the app and on the AppStore) is not working.
The core functionality shows a kanji and asks you to select the meaning from four choices in English (or the reverse). This needs a kanji to kana mode - for example showing the readings of the kanji as possible answers.
There are some other nice modes like multi-kanji words, opposites, and numbers. Again with more work this could be more helpful (e.g. the numbers game offers answers which cannot be expressed in a single kanji like 19, so makes it too easy).
Also the top-right button to stop a practise session was often slow to respond.
