AMAZING APP!
I absolutely LOVE this app! I’ve used it for two house mortgages running “what-if” scenarios trying to target reasonable early payoff dates and understanding how much money I save in interest I don’t have to pay the bank. The app is easy to use and easy to pivot your payoff strategy when financial changes happen and you have to put less or can put more into the house. Seeing the payoff graphs, tables, and summary views are so nice. I use all the features on this app. The app is simple but powerful. Very user friendly but not underpowered. Great job! This is probably the first review I’ve ever posted about a mobile app because I just loved it so much.

If you want a detailed and easy to use calculator you can use to estimate future principal payments and payoff scenarios with both incremental monthly progress, monthly progress and overall totals - this is what you are looking for.

Unable to lock the values and it changes my previous inputs automatically when trying to input the numbers.

Incredible AND easy
This calculator is invaluable for comparing different scenarios and payment schedules for any variety of mortgage products. The extra payments feature and ability to add in taxes is super useful as well. I can’t speak highly enough about how easy to use it is as well. Strongly recommend for any financial planning for a loan or mortgage product

Great app with significant flaw
This is a great mortgage calculator, I spent ages inputting all my historic data into it (every overpayment, every interest rate change etc) to get an accurate picture, as it provides better insights and forecasts than any other calculator that I’ve come across.
However, it doesn’t use iCloud storage nor provide any form of export/import of data outside of the app - whilst you can generate a CSV report, you can’t do anything with this.
This means if you change your phone - like I did - you have to start over or - like I have - give up as you can’t be bothered to go through all the painstaking setup you thought you’d only ever need to do once.
So what would have been 5 stars is 3 as a result.

Long time user
I've been using this app for years. To me, it's a perfect as I could hope for. Simple interface but still plenty of options. You won't find a better mortgage calculator.
Loved it at first but not no more
App was working fine at first but now I can’t even calculate a normal payment. It keeps defaulting to 100 years and it says to change to payment radio button. It’s getting annoying so I stopped using. Please fix
365 and 360 Interest Compound
I was excited about it have 365 interest compound selection, I don’t have to open my excel worksheet. But it won’t calculate as 365. I think it’s not working.

First, thank you to the developer of this calculator. Everyone has been coming to me for their mortgage advice because of this simple tool!
It’s still getting 5 stars however, now maybe with the newer iPhones, I can’t see the entire table to the right. It seems to be cutoff. I can still get the first few numbers ie: “400,” instead of “400,000.00”.

Love this app
I would give 5 stars if it had updated the FHA MI rules. It’s running off the old numbers. But I use this app all the time! Love it. The ability to add in a temp buy down scenario would be an awesome add too.
I love this app
I just want to let Karl and the world know that I use this app ALL THE TIME. It works so well when I am calculating not only mortgages and commercial loans but also auto loans or really anything. I appreciate you building this!
