What's new in 1.0.25 Photos & videos • Photos and videos now keep their real shape, tall or wide, instead of being cropped to a square, both in the feed and on the post page. • Fixed Android photos and videos sometimes showing in the wrong orientation box. • Smoother full-screen video progress bar. • New setting to turn off "mute videos by default" (Settings > Video). • A video that is still processing no longer shows someone else's picture. Likes, comments & reposts • A new, snappier like animation, the same on iPhone and Android. • Redesigned action bar: cleaner, evenly aligned icons. • Posts you liked, commented on or reposted are now clearly marked. • Like, comment and repost counts update instantly and stay accurate; quick double-taps no longer mix up your likes. • Reposting is smoother: reposts open with their full content, and undoing then reposting again works as expected. • Delete your own reposts from your profile, and remove comments on your own posts with your thoughts. • Comments always show the right list for each post. • Saved posts appear in (and disappear from) your Saved tab right away. Safety • People you block can no longer comment on or reply to your posts. • New limits to stop comment spam. Also • Opening a profile no longer flashes the previous person's profile. • Comment text is easier to read in dark mode. • Removed an unused button on the Messages screen. • Many other bug fixes and performance improvements.
