Awesome pan and tilt camera.
No advertisements trying to get you to buy cloud storage. Use your own SD card and that’s it. Controls are easy to use and set. I will definitely buy more of these cameras and anything made by this company.

Last update trashed the app
I have enjoyed this app for a few years now and have been able to make it work, but after this last update I’ve had nothing but problems with the app freezing. Trying to review video on my microSD causes the app to freeze and is nothing but frustrating as I have to shut the app down and try again. For surely I’m not the only one experiencing this.

No frills dimmer but it just works. In a space packed with tech gadgets that don’t function or glitch out. Skip those. Buy this! Thank me later.

App still freezes & no response no update
UPDATE: 2 WEEKS SINCE THE LAST UPDATE. THE APP STILL FREEZES UPON TRYING TO USE IT’S FEATURES. TERRIBLE! Something is wrong with the apps previous update. I have been with this app for almost 7 years and never had an issues until now. It freezes up every time I want to change or set a plug setting. It doesn’t allow me to go back or move forward. I’m closing the app and re-opening it. I have logged out, deleted the app, re-downloaded the app and signed in to my account and it is still freezes up no matter what I do on the app. Unable to use or add anything on the app at this moment. It’s frustrating.

I’ve had my KASA devices for a long time and up until the previous version, everything worked flawlessly…
But whatever was done to version 3.4.700 Build 1387 broke and bricked the app…
Every time I need to use it, I have to close it and reopen it as many times as I need to in order to accomplish basic tasks…
Please, PLEASE fix the latest problems!!!

Freezes
I came here to say the app stinks but apparently it’s a recent “update” that’s causing all the issues. I just installed the camera last week and barely started messing with the app and settings today and it’s absolute garbage. It’s frozen and it won’t do the MIN THING ITS SUPPOSED TO DO which is RECORD. And when it does, it doesn’t allow me to see the video. There’s been multiple delivery drivers that have come to the house and I can’t see any of them cus it freezes or I can’t even access them.

I Love their security cameras!
I can record everything. I have pictures and shorts that the camera took when detect movement. I can download the videos and pictures easily. I have the free version.
Requires re-login after every update
It seems all recent updates, lose login information, and require re-logging into the app every time there’s an update, that is very frustrating for something that’s supposed to be convenient home automation available at our fingertips
