Works pretty well, katakana is free hiragana is a cheap one time purchase would recommend if your trying to learn the alphabets in a fun easy way.
The romaji is wrong
I can read kana but just wanted this app to keep it fresh... and realised that the romaji for certain letters (example, it says that フ is ‘hu’ but is ‘fu’ and it’s says that チ is ‘ti’ but is actually ‘chi’)

There are literally hundreds of katakana study apps on the App Store, but 9/10 look like they were last updated in 2009. This one looks gorgeously minimal, and is super-easy to use.
