Used to be good
It used to be a good news app but recently over the past couple of weeks has been sending push messages about every headline in the nation. I am talking about 50 to 100 a day. I can’t get it to stop so deleting.
Pander to racist bigots
Disappointed. I lost all respect for KATV 7 news when they started pandering to racist bigots. In the past they didn’t allow the large population of racist and bigoted Arkansans to affect their reporting. I don’t know why they decided not hurting people’s feelings was more important than reporting the news. I expect this from fox but thought KATV 7 was above such disgusting behavior. Shame on you channel 7. I hope David Bazzel goes back to channel 4. He’s the only one of you with integrity.

When I try to watch the news live on my IPhone I always have to reboot my phone and my phone is not a year ago yet.
Can’t stand their liberal politics but-
II despise ABC’s and KATV’s liberal politics but they are the only way to get local news.
Abandoned Dog story
1/22/23 Stories at the bottom of page of a news story are very often from another state. Might be interesting; but, I am in local section & these stories would be better to be local, too. Then when I use arrow to back out to original, am no longer in local section 🙄🙄.

1/4/23 story from WJAC Johnstown about a dog left out in freezing temps tied outside with no food or water never said how the dog was doing now. Went to WJAC site & eventually found the original story which, at the end stated, “Officials said the dog is at a vet clinic & reportedly is stable.” This should have been included. 10/4/22 Reading article about homeless woman - finally said in “Portland”; i had to do a search as I wasn’t sure if Portland, Oregon or Maine or someplace else. Maybe on stories out of the area, you could put location (city, state) as a heading for the article. I’ve had this happen before where I kept wondering “where is this place that this happened?”

Poor video quality
When watching live streaming of the governors Covid update everyday, Chl. 7’s view is ALWAYS blurry. I usually watch the update on Chl. 11 just because you can’t see ANYTHING on 7’s site. It’s been this way for MONTHS. What’s going on? I watch this on my iPad. Does your AtV station look the same way?

Why is it that this app will not change orientation when rotating the iPad?
Blacked out
Loved this app and used every day until the last update all the txt is blacked when you open the news article. The only thing that comes up is the advertisements. I’ve checked settings deleted and reloaded app same problem. Please fix!!!

Where have they gone? It is now an advertisement app. Whoever pushed this update through should have tested it on a phone first. Only the elderly use iPads at this point.

DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS!! This app does not have up to date news stories. Many times I open it three days after the college football or basketball game and that’s still the only new story.
News updates
Updates are not current with news. Sometimes you news/updates are over 24 hrs with nothing posted.
Live broadcast is worthless
I was watching morning news when power went out at house. — I know, I can watch the KATV broadcast live on the app (at least that is what they promote).
I quickly started the app so i could continue watching where i was (i figured there would be some delay). I had to watch multiple commercials that i know what not on their live broadcast.
My power came back on 5 minutes later - there was the live broadcast on my TV, but my mobile device.... noooo. After about 3 minutes of commercials (worthless commercials I should add), the display on my mobile device said “we’ll be right back”. All this time - the KATV morning news broadcast was going strong on my TV.
Just for my curiosity, I shut down the app, restarted it. Selected the Live View button (remember - the KATV morning news is on my TV at this time). As soon as the video feed starts up - the same commercials as before on the KATV app (while not showing any of the actual live KATV news broadcast).

Well, it isn't making a one sound on iPhone 7 with notifications. Please place a sound on the notifications!
On the previous version, notifications would come through, but no sound. Hopefully that has been repaired. Those notifications with sound are needed, especially with weather alerts.
