Latest update is a downgrade
The news side took a big downgrade with the latest update. Looks like they outsourced it or turned it over to a AI beta version. Also frustrating is getting stuck when ever an article turns out to be something Investigate TV. The only way off the page is to get out of the app and quit it.
Is this a news app or advertising platform?
Auto play of ads that are scrolled out of view is so lame. The company/person that is building this app is not doing WSMV any favors.

Turn off audio that plays when you try to read a story.
Gonna have to delete the app to annoying when you try to read a story there’s random audio plan in the background. There needs to be an option to turn that off. None of the other news apps are this annoying.
