Latest update is a downgrade
The news side took a big downgrade with the latest update. Looks like they outsourced it or turned it over to a AI beta version. Also frustrating is getting stuck when ever an article turns out to be something Investigate TV. The only way off the page is to get out of the app and quit it. Now even the pop up ads are getting stuck with no way to close them other than closing the app. Also dislike how long it can take to get to the live weather during a severe event when timing of a tornado hitting is critical.

Is this a news app or advertising platform?
Auto play of ads that are scrolled out of view is so lame. The company/person that is building this app is not doing WSMV any favors.

Turn off audio that plays when you try to read a story.
Gonna have to delete the app to annoying when you try to read a story there’s random audio plan in the background. There needs to be an option to turn that off. None of the other news apps are this annoying.
Ruined the app
Put it back how it was. I know you have to justify your jobs by revamping the app periodically but this is really bad now. Delete

Turn on your app too watch whether or whatever gets into it it brings up commercial . Soon as what I turned on it on why !! Did this but I turned it on and or it was just drop out altogether!! so channel 2, channel 5 doesn’t
Still less-than-desirable
Despite my optimism that the WSMV app will become a keeper, there’s always something it that makes me delete it. Now it’s sound - there is absolutely no way to simply read a news article without something blaring from the page. No sound settings at all. Who does that?!?
So as soon as it was “hello again, WSMV” it became DELETE. Maybe one day my optimism will be cured and I won’t try again. I certainly don’t see the point right now.

No auto play
I detest the auto play of videos on news stories! In fact so much so, I won’t use the app when I’m waiting rooms and such! Sucks!!

Poorly Designed App
Can’t turn off automatic videos or change font to a bigger size, so the app is annoying and useless to someone who can’t read tiny script. I used to love watching WSMV on the TV but can’t rely on the app for anything at all. I’m deleting.
New update? More difficult to use
Not sure what changes have occured, but suddenly this app is more difficult to find what i need including streaming previous broadcast.

I’m not totally crazy about this new update. The biggest problem I have with it is the fact that anytime I go to a story I have to listen to a ad for someone or something. There is no way to turn off the sound. This is very annoying. I hope that in a future update you can correct this issue. You do a great job reporting and covering the news, but with this update you have dropped the ball. The

Notifications are awful
The notifications are always stuck on so end up ignoring the app

Gray ruined the app
Since the station was sold, the Fire tv app is constantly having tons of errors. And the iPhone app is a lot less user friendly with its new update
