Not happy
It would be so nice to be able to read the news on your site instead of having to watch a video. I don’t understand why this option is not available. I’m surprised you let us watch the radar and not a video which is the only thing I get out of this site.
Biased news stories
Your political views are very biased. I love your weather and sports reporting but anything to do with the president or that is political. It’s very one-sided. I wish news stations would just report the facts of the story without being so politically motivated.

What happens to KCCI
KCCI use to be one of the best neutral local news sources. Now they’ve bogged themselves down in the national news cycle and bias language bleeds through every article. Can anyone just focus on the community they serve. Facts don’t need your adjectives…

Does not function well
Downloaded this app mainly for weather. The videos never work for me on data or wifi. I turned on notifications and got them way too often so I had to turn them off. Improve the video feature and give the option of types of notifications. I don’t need a notification of every time there is a crime in Des Moines.

Partisan news organization
Best thing about kcci and the app is that the weather coverage is the most composite in the area. Other than that expect very partisan politics favoring Trump and highlighting the GOP in a favorable light.
A news app where they don’t show you the text of the article.
Why does every news article have text that stops mid sentence. The article just disappears. This app isn’t worth opening anymore.
Great and informative App!
This app is equipped with all the tools to stay connected and informed about what’s going on and what is about to go on in Iowa. I have yet to learn and benefit from all it’s features because I am just a newbie in the state. Thanks for developing such a helpful and much needed app!
Weather
This has happened on too many occasions now where I’ll get constant notifications and updates saying that it’s going to rain/storm soon (or at a specific time) then when I go check the radar again it’s like nothing was ever there. Their weather updates and predictions are completely inaccurate.
It just not for me
To be honest, it’s not really for me. I get nervous over weather.

The KCCI app keeps me informed about everything going on in the city of Des Moines!
Slow, glitchy
The app updated a week ago has made it pretty much unusable unless you have the time to wait around for things to load. And it came with some “sign your life away“ lead in screen when the new version loaded for the first time. Something is broken. In general, I haven’t like this app for the last five years. We used to be able to get in here, find what we wanted - move around easily.

Try to get an update on the incoming bad weather or active weather well you must first watch 2 minutes worth of ads. Why are ads a thing on a news app. Kcci focused on money from ads and everything else then getting important safety information out to people

I have problems with the app not refreshing and freezing up or shuttering. Seems like this app needs a serious update
Horrible
I have TRIED to use this app for years but it only gets worse. ADs for everything, and 9 times out of 10 the AD is longer than the video I want to see. The article will crash out and send me to home page 9 times out of 10, or make me rewatch the AD. This is by far the worst app I have downloaded.
