Unable to use after update

Latest update requires an OS version I cannot download as my device is “too old to download it”, because the app cannot be used without the latest version, it has effectively bricked itself.

I really liked using this since I dont have a second monitor to use for videos, having it completely lock me out for some arbitrary reason that is out of my control feels wrong.

I’ll miss the free version

I’ve been using this app for a long while. It’s what I used to sleep peacefully. I’m upset that there’s going to be a subscription fee after this month, but oh well. I’ll have to find a new app. I hope that won’t be too hard.

Love it but

I love this app it’s so good it’s so good for when I’m trying to sleep especially when I have insomnia and I listen to ASMR to fall asleep but I’ve been coming up with a problem. There’s this one asmr maker that I love and I tried to add his videos to my playlist which I clean out everytime I finish listening to it but this one isn’t working like I ca add it to my playlist many times but that certain video doesn’t work no matter how much I try even other creators work tho. Please tell me what might be the problem

If you are using the “quick add” button in the playlist I would instead try to search for it in the middle bottom tab and then add the video to your playlist. You can also copy and paste a yt video link into the “quick add” input box and that will have a better guarantee of success. You can also try to copy and paste a yt playlist link into the “quick add” input box and that should also work. I hope one of these methods solve your problem. App Won’t Work for IPhone

I downloaded this on my IPhone and everything was working fine until I clicked on a video. The video wouldn’t play, it would just be a blank screen. I couldn’t open the video to full screen. The whole app froze after that. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling which didn’t help either. I don’t know if it’s just an issue on my end because it seems like no one else has this problem with the app.

Amazing app, but I’ve run into a really specific issue

The app is great and anything I could’ve possibly asked for and more. However, I’m unable to import one of my playlists or search for it in the search bar (probably) because of its size (over 3000 songs). Is there some way I can import it into the app without having to do it manually?

That’s a lot of songs. Is the yt playlist public or unlisted? If it is private then the import is not going to work. I would try to import it into a kt playlist and wait to see if it goes through after making sure the playlist is public or unlisted. Try this a couple of times. If that doesn’t work then I would make smaller playlists on the yt side and then try importing those. Thanks.

Amazing! But…

As the title suggests, I absolutely love this app and use it regularly. However, there are a few additions I’d like to see that would make things so much more convenient. For one, allow Bluetooth connections to skip songs in a playlist (i.e. double tap to skip and triple tap to go back one.) as it saves the hassle of having to pull the phone back up any time i want to skip a song. Secondly, I’d really appreciate it if we got a more intuitive way to edit playlists other than sending songs to the bottom of the list until it’s all in order. Other than those two notes, this app is great. I’d totally recommend!

Bluetooth skip controls aren’t possible due to yt limitations. I am not looking at other playlist ordering methods as this is the most efficient way of ordering large playlists and ordering folders. Sorry about that. Thanks for using the app.

A truly wonderful app.

Constant stressed out human here; writing this to express my gratitude for this app.
I was so tired of getting jumpscared awake by loud ads on rain sound for sleep videos.. the fact that YouTube even does that just to make revenue is crazy. This app has allowed me to make therapeutic videos entirely ad and jumpscare free.. I cannot thank them enough for that. It has saved my sleep schedule (and probably my sanity) time and time again. 100/10 highly recommend for anyone who needs rain sounds or whatever else to sleep.. or to anyone who’s tired of the ads anyway!

WORKS AMAZINGLY NO BS BEAUTIFUL APP, it’s so smooth and super easy to use. It does what it’s supposed to do and does it well! What is there not to like??? To keep the app the way it is, I’d love to support it in any way I can so please take these five stars. Good app, imports every song from youtube. But, the audio stops playing when I try to minimize the app. Also, cannot skip videos through the dynamic island/control center.

Could be better

i use this app to listen to ASMR to fall asleep but like two weeks ago the app randomly froze and won’t play anything, i deleted and redownloaded it but it’s still broken. i don’t use a vpn and my phone is up to date.

Really good, just one request

I love this app, I troll my friend who just bought YouTube premium and just show him this and he gets mad, but my only request is to be able to watch videos in a premade playlist, like a play through or tv show for example. Or if you do have that implemented, please tell me how to do it, I haven’t really fidgeted around in the app all the way yet

Good, but the latest update broke it

I’ve been using this for months as a way to listen to my music on YouTube, but after the most recent update, it just hasn’t worked at all. The videos are just a black screen and don’t load. I’m sad about this because this is a genuinely amazing app :[

difficulties?

i love the app, i really do! but recently these past few weeks it’s just stopped working? like it freezes, and if i manage to look something up nothing plays. i’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, closed and restarted the app, and nothing has worked.

Major in need of improvements

Please I beg of you creator of this app please fix the issue on when playing a music or video after exiting the app it still plays on and can have a choice to pause and play whilst you're outside of the app itself as a whole if you could resolve this issue i would be a very happy person and would rate this app a perfect five stars.

Could be better

i use this app to listen to ASMR to fall asleep without adds and overall it’s pretty nice but it can be a struggle sometimes trying to get it to play while my phone is locked, like how music can play while locked ifykwim. also i think it could definitely implement a SCREEN LOCKING system like netflix! would definitely help but overall pretty nice, definitely reminds me of musi 🪦

I don’t think I’ll do a screen locking feature. I feel like it would be too unexpected if some controls stop working some of the time. Background play is limited at the moment. I’ll try to see if I can make the process smoother in the next update. For now you can press on the full screen icon within the player, press on the picture-in-picture icon, and then move the app into the background.

Keltube is my go to

However, been recently encountering a bug where when closing the phone, the song I selected to play will stop playing immediately instead of continuing when my phone is closed.

Sorry about this. Yt updated things on their end. For now you can press on the full screen icon within the player, press on the picture-in-picture icon, and then move the app into the background. That will get it playing like it used to. I’ll see if I can write a better fix next update.

Life-saver!

This app has been great for listening to music or ASMR while I draw, work, or wind down for the evening. My only issue is that background play isn’t working as of late, even when I restart the tab, access my playlist on a browser, free up data space, or even shut my device down and turn it back on. I’ve tried everything and it’s really annoying, but I assume it’s from the parent app YT doubling down against ad blockers and third-party apps?

Yup yt changed something in their end. For now if you press the full screen icon within the player, then press the picture-in-picture icon, then move the app to the background, then the app will behave as before. I will try to see if I can make it a smoother process in the next update.
